I think that I'm causing too much trouble with you parents, here with my rebellious slant on parents and life in general.

This is why I stay away from the Parenting forum -- my ideas would not go over well. Consider that when I watch Nanny 911, I call out suggestions such as tranquilizers or a cattle prod.

I don't know what you're talking about Cockney Rebel, I've never read anything offensive by you. You usually are very upfront about giving your personal opinions.
The only time I get fed up is when the younger Aspies give very heavy-handed, generic "advice" that isn't really helpful. Like they're not really reading thoroughly. But the older ones, 30+ give a lot of great advice and reassurance.

What about me? Do I offend people here? I like the Parents forum because I hope to help young Aspies. I find some of these topics more interesting than the silly stuff in the other forums. Also if you reply to something from the home page you don't know which forum its in and inadvertly get dragged into the Parents forum. I'm 38 yr old Aspie btw.

I've never been offended by anything said in Parent's Discussion.

In fact, it was an adult Aspie who picked up that my son was being bullied on the bus and playground.

I described that he was hitting and kicking kids on the bus.

Wise Aspie (sorry, can't remember who it was but thanks) told me that's what it sounded like.

I investigated.

Wise Aspie was right. Problem solved.

'twas possibly me smelena - glad I was of help :)

Lots of parents that come here Cockney want opinions - they are all mature enough to decide whether they don't like said opinions. Every opinion garnered helps them no matter what.
Heck - I'm not even old enough (by law) to have a child old enough to be diagnosed. Should I stop posting in here, since I'm not a parent, stop posting in the 'In Depth' since I'm only 20?

I don't think so! - advice from anyone is eyeopening!

*jedi mind trick* - "You will remain here CockneyRebel"

As long as anyones intentions are to try and be helpful, and not stir up some Sh**, I think all opinions should be welcome. I think there are a lot of parents of older Aspie children in particular that don't know what to do. The adivce of older aspies is invaluable in these situations!

Are Aspergian parents of Aspergian children allowed here? I am not yet a parent, but I'm simply wondering.
