I have another tread on WP http://wrongplanet.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=364656 I was told this question might be worth me making a new thread in the parenting section, and include a link back to my tread. So here I am. I won't go into great detail. He seems to be wanting to learn to read. My family started corn harvest so we live in tractors so to speak, JD rides with me in one of the combines I was wondering if there is like a game we could play in the cab that will help him learn his ABC's or something like that. He loves being on the tractors they hold his attention for some reason so just simple things I could do Thanks for any ideas

Are you sure he doesn't know them already?

What I might do, for a start: write the word "tractor" on a piece of paper. Tell him that this is the word "tractor." Then tell him the letters for it. See how he reacts.

I ask my stepdad if he knew them did but he said he was not sure I know that sounds bad for my stepdad. I don't mean it that way, I ask JD if he knew his ABC's he told me just drive tractor so I will try that when he gets back.
