Are you looking to publish when you are done? Or at least let people here read what you’ve written?

Your topic is interesting, since some south Asian countries do not have much of a recognition of autism, so there would be less cultural awareness. But south Asians living in western countries would have their kids automatically screened in schools and have autism diagnoses pop up sometimes.

I, personally, would be very interested in what you find out.

In the UK we don't get screening for autism and can go missed if high functioning for both genders. My sister isn't diagnosed, nor is my father but are most likely on the spectrum. I got tested in my mid 20s after my son who had more the classic profile show up. My daughter only got assessed prior to school due to me pushing it and they were fobbing me off with she's copying her brother.

I'm not sure about other European countries as it varies from country to country.

Hi Roop, just some friendly advice
i) Please check your grammar, punctuation and spelling, it's highly unprofessional for a postgraduate psychology student in the United States to post a recruitment ad like this as it reflects badly on you and your institution.

ii) Its unethical to ask people for their email address unless they first read a flyer outlining your project e.g. aims, consent, risks, benefits etc... My wife is south asian but I would never participate in a study where the person asking for my email comes across like a Nigerian scammer.

Please contact your respective research services human ethics officer in your institution and enrol yourself for ethics training and how to promote your research project ethically.
