Dear Admin,

I'm looking to find participants to recruit for a study which is titled "Coping Strategies Used by Parental Caregivers of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder"

It will be a Microsoft Teams semi-structured inteview asking about Coping Strategies parents use.

Would I be allowed to post on here when I'm ready to recruit participants?

Thanks
Amarpreet Jaswal

Provisionally - but you'll need to post more details of the involvement required and likely questions.

Doesn't the use of Microsoft Teams mean it will be a video interview? If so, this may have privacy implications for the respondents.

I've also moved your thread to the Parents' Discussion forum.

Does the study assume that parents are a) non-autistic, and/or b) upset about their child being autistic?

I would say that this person is talking about autistic parents, too.

Will participants receive monetary compensation for their time?

Snark: Does it include parents of ASD children who were not diagnosed with ASD b/c the medical community systematically underdiagnoses girls?
