Hi, I'm new to the group and just wanted to introduce myself. I am a mother of 3 kids, my daughters are 14 and 6 and my son is 12. He has Aspergers syndrome. i am hoping that being on this site will be a way of meeting new people who have the same interests and some of the same barriers as i do. I am from England by the way! i hope i will also find this site useful as i will be able to get an idea of how it feels for those of you who also have ASD. I am hoping this will be a way for my son and my older daughter to make friends as well.

Hi Josieh

Im a mum of 2 - Asperger son who's 14 and NT (neuro-typical) daughter who's 8. Also from England so will probably have come up against a lot of the same barriers, especially education wise.

This site has been an absolute God send for me, when you're really worried about something in particular it's so reassuring to be able to come on to here and ask a question and get an HONEST answer / view (Hooray for Aspies!).

Hello and welcome.

I have three sons aged 8, 7 and 3. My 8 and 7 year old were both diagnosed with AS this year, and made me realise my husband also has AS. A bit of a whirlwind year!

WP has been brilliant. I don't know how I would have coped this year without WP!

Hello and welcome. I'm the Dad of two 10yr olds, an Aspie boy and Nt girl. We already have something in common, we have found the WrongPlanet. It is a great place to be.

Hello and welcome! I am Mom to 4 kids; a son 16 with AS, a son 14 with shades of AS and ADHD, a son 13 with AS and a daughter 6 with ADHD. I also have ADHD and shades of AS.

I think it is wonderful that you have found this site! :wink: I have learned so much about AS and found such interesting people. It was so nice to be finally understood rather than treated like my family is just weird.

I know you will find the same acceptance as I have!

I am from North West England and have an 11yr old son called J who is an Aspie.
This is a brilliant forum. J and i both use it.Every one is so friendly and help full, i have learnt so much and J is learning .
