My 3 year old terrified of the robot vacuum cleaner. Every time it moves she has to climb up onto her flamingo and she says she's scared. How can I help her overcome her fear?

I am 70 years older and I would find it scary. The two main scary aspects would be movement and noise. If you insist on using a robot vacuum, you might locate the child in another room for the duration.

Not much that you can do about it.

Maybe turn it off and let her examine it on her own terms?

I stayed at a friends house once and they had a robot vacuum cleaner.

It turned itself on and starting moving through the night, which is apparently because it was faulty.

The friend didn't warn me however, and I was left wondering if there was a #riseofthemachines 8O

I was terrified and wouldn't touch one till I was 15 or so. Even now they make me anxious and I prefer no carpet just to avoid them lol.

My brother disassembled one before he would tolerate it. Not saying let your child do that but maybe allowing them to examine? I honestly had to figure out how car engines worked before I would drive.

Ok. I'll let her examine it and if that doesn't help I'll just have to not oporate it when she's in the room.
