Okay tell me if any of you like this idea. I have noticed that the brag about your aspie thread got a ton of responses and I was/am getting tired of all the "there is nothing good about autism even though I have a son with asperger's who is off to pre-med" (true story) blogs. So in my infinate wisdom I though it would be cool to create a blog to recognize all the great things aspies/auties do instead of always focusing on the negatives. Does anyone else think this is a good idea? Does anyone want there child/brother/grandchild/student/whatever to be featured? I do sortof have the first 2 weeks spoken for (perhaps) but after that I am free and clear .

P.S. The more of you look at it the more people will see it off of google and stuff, so if I do start it, it is up to you to watch it!

I like the idea, but I don't have any relatives to recommend.

There's a couple of those blogs out there. One's a videoblog, a vlog? check the http://www.autism-hub.co.uk

It identifies the bloggers as "autistic", "family members", other and professional writers.

I want to stay away from current blogs so I can make my own blog without having to worry about other peoples opinions. It will be harder to ignore someone who just says the good things about autism if you don't see others opinions. Now I just need some aspies/auties to blog about!

I decied to just start the blogs over at google, this could prove to be a mistake but like I said I wanted the blog to be entirely my own and not tainted by anyone elses work. Well, I think it's a good idea but I think it would be very hard to get people to sign up for it.

I've got my own blog where I'm exploring the condition.

Life with Aspergers

But in my experience you really have to work hard to keep an audience.

That means regular and interesting posts... and constant prompting for visitors.

In the meantime, I'm adding your blog to my favourites and I'll give it a read.
