My sons got themselves ready today!!

Hello,

For the first time ever, both my sons (9 and 7, both diagnosed with Asperger's) got themselves ready while my husband and I were asleep.

They got dressed for school, got their own breakfast, then brushed their teeth.

Certainly makes life easier! Progress+++

Yes! Yessss!! !

My two boys have become more-or-less self-sufficient of a morning. They even bring their cereal bowls back into the kitchen, phwoar! I'm not holding my breath that they will start the washing-up on their own, anytime soon. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Congratulations for them. You should tell them how happy you are and how proud you are of them. They are becoming big boys and are growing up.

Wow!! !

We had a couple of days of that with our 7 year old.

Then I discovered that he was getting his school clothes on BEFORE he went to bed each night.
