I am wondering if NTs do this too and if so why do you do it?

If not, how come?

I have not done it often. I am prone to severe depression, snd I did so then.

My husband was very ill for a time, and lay on the bed day after day in a fetal position. I remember this clearly because it was so unusual

When I was suffering a major depressive episode I sat and lay in the fetal position.

But now I am not depressed, I don't.

I just don't feel the need to.

I'm an NT, and I sleep in a fetal position, maybe because I'm always cold, and this keeps my body warm, I sometimes find myself with my hands touching my shoulders, like resting on them, this is when I'm very relaxed I kinda think this a a fetal position too.

I curl up, too, because it's cozy.

I don't see how it has anything to do with depression. This is a fallacy.

Cats and dogs curl up tightly too. It's comfortable.

I always do. I used to do it at school too tucking my legs up at te desk. The other kids thought it was weird, but I found it comfortable. At home I alwayys curl up in the corner of the couch. I a a side sleeper too.
