He is 2 years old,
He got some building blocks from his half brother, he loves them.
he also got a little choochoo train that has a spinning colorful top,
he played with it a little but not much until I put a chain on it so he could pull it around,
now he loves it and plays with it all the time.
He also got some balls of different textures and colours, we practice playing catch all the time.
he also has a lot of little toy men, he is starting to like playing toy talking and dancing with me,
he especially likes the ones that you push buttons or wind them up and they move.
I even got him some toy cars, big and small ones, he plays with them all the time,
he especially loves the riding ones.
I bought him a ton of new cloths, and he got even more from his relatives.
I think I will get him some new shoes later.
his vocabulary is getting better, he learned so far,-

alright, share, more, dada, daddy, moma, mommy, yes, no, I want it, tree, baby, I did it, shoe, Peekaboo, sock, foot, feet, bottle (baba), ya (yes), ah oh, book, juice, milk, love, night night, ball, geese, up, down, play, bear, here, pee, poopie, diaper, cheese, all done, I do, toys, push, want, I want down, I want up, fun, hot, car, door, TV, shut it, open, bounce, ouch, owey, let go, go, cup, yummy, bye bye, ucky, thank you,

and much more.
I even got him to say "I love daddy" finely.
and I heard him say "I want daddy".

when he sounds like he is learning a new word I work with him on it,
or if he says something that remotely sounds like a word, I work with him on it.
I am going to get him a potty chair soon, he is about ready for one,
he keeps wanting to mimic me ALLOT, I use that to help him learn.
he is even getting much better at brushing his teeth.
my son adores me so much, theres so much I can teach him.

he is starting to bring me books to read to him all the time,
he snuggles right up onto my arm as a pillow as i read to him,
he loves it.

OMG, he gave me a little kiss on the cheek tonight, owww sweet.
=======================================================
I thought about sending his mother an Xmas present,
then thought about how her new boyfriend forced her to
return the peace offering turkey I sent her a while back,
then rejected the thought any further, like, whats the point.
she her self wouldn't do that for me and I know it,
or if she would, he wouldn't let her.

(shrugs)

I just had a thought, she is acting out and trying to control and manipulate like her oldest child does,
she is acting like a child and childishly dealing with our child and me, perhaps I should start treating
her like she is acting out as, and start thinking of her in like manner, as a child.
====================================================
.
Hay, guess what, I was offered a chance to live for free in a middle class home,
it comes with a children's play center and many other things, basically the owners
want me to baby sit the home for over a year, I said yes,
but have not heard back from them yet,
they are doing the holidays like every one else, but it sounds like a sure thing,
it also has like 4 bed rooms and 2 baths and a 4 car garage, the works,
its even furnished, I seen pictures,
and its in the same town the mother of my child lives in.
this will look vary righteous to the Guardian Ad Litem when that starts happening,
compared to my child's mothers home or her boyfriends, it will look like
a well to do mansion.
hehehe.
Rock on :D
===============================================
(if you see a ton of edits on this post its because I am
trying to build up his words list, and I am saving them here on this post,
if his mother is watching, then she will know what words to keep helping with,
its not about out doing each other, at least not for me, its more about our child's growth and development, I wish his mother would at least communicate with me on such things,
but I know THATs not going to happen any time soon,
(sigh)
who am I kidding, My child is basically my world, not hers..)
I want to become and be My babys Hero,
I am not going to let her take that chance from me.

I do not get to have my son for Xmas, he gets to spend it with his mother.
I will be alone for Xmas.

but its only fair, I had our child for thanksgiving,
==================================
Snip
==================================
I am basicly moving an old post to this thread,
I am going to try and keep the good things seperate
on threads now.
==================================
He will be 2 this coming 20th,
he likes to play and be obnoxious,
he demands most all my attention, and that ok by me,
other then when I get on the net or try and watch TV,
then when I watch TV he pushes the buttons relentlessly,
and when I am on the net he goes striate for the phone jacks.
he is VARY BRIGHT, a bit slow on his social skills when dealing with new people,
and his language skills are behind,
I been working with him on those things.
He has not been feeling good lately, he has a bad cold, but that don't slow him down any he-he.
during thanks giving I had gotten him a whole book shelf of children's books I read to him,
before the weather gone cold we enjoyed going out to the parks,
we went out to a place called the eagles now and then to eat, he liked it there,
people would go play the claw machine and win him toys.
its kinda like the elks club, a family place.
when at home we play most all the time, I enjoy playing with him.
when we eat I let him pick what he wants me to make (of course I only let him pick out of whats good for him).
same when we go shopping, I pick a few things healthy and then let him pick out of those.
as for snacks I line up around 4-6 healthy foods for him to go help him self to any time he wants them,
same for drinks, he got milk or a couple kinds of juice to choose from.
he used to be into mostly stuffed animals, but I been getting him in to toy cars
and plastic cartoon toys and the like showing him how to play with them,
he also likes playing with the balls, we roll them back and forth all the time,
and he loves peekaboo, he does it to me all the time now to start the play.
when at the end of the day, he loves to use me as a pillow at times,
or just throws his tinny arms and legs over me,
this seems ok, but when he is in a cranky mood or sleeping restlessly at night he kicks allot.
but boy you should see his smiles and hear his laughter, he is always a joy to be with and around.
I do not know what I would do with my self without him in my life,
its like I waited all my life for him to come into being,
thats why I would never just give up on him.
I dedicated my life to raising him,
many people want that big house, big car, big stereo, etc etc,
alls I ever wanted was what I got now, my baby
(and well maybe an happy and healthy relationship would have been nice, but I give up on that part)
I am lucky to have what I got with him, and I will NEVER just walk away from that.
I love being a father, he is my buddy and best friend.
(end of old post)
====================================
It would be vary kind of someone to remove the threads
I started called (My Son) and (Children First, Rights of the parents come next.).
I would like to dampen some of the negativity I started,
not only that, but it reminds me of the negative things
when I need to start focusing more on the positive things.
thank you.

ROFL,
this is adorable, err well kinda,
He seen me cleaning up his mess after him, then he grabbed a baby wipe and started to do the same
thing, I cheered him on and rewarded him with much hugs and love and attention, he smiled gleefully
and then dumped some more food on the floor and grabbed another baby wipe and started to clean
it up happily.

Bounces Bounces Bounces
I GOT THE HOUSE SITTING JOB!
I start next week,
not only that but the lady PAYS me to take care of some
business matters for her while living there, at least enough to pay the bills.
that means that all the extra money I earn can goto basically food and my
child's needs and most of all LAWYER FEE'S, I couldn't afford one before,
but with this, I CAN.

Someone is watching over me, Someone is watching over me,
I have never had that feeling before in my life, but you know what?
It feels GREAT, it changes my whole latitude and attitude,
it tells me that good things does come to those who endure and wait,
sometimes saving the best times for when its needed the most in ones life,
it gives me back my long thought lost faith,
its almost like a build up in good karma long thought waisted and forgotten,
I felt if my sister had not procrastinated so much on helping me with filling
out my child custody papers that I would have won what I asked for sooner
because my ex her self was procrastinating,
I had a hard time doing them by my self and I HAD to have help with all those
legal forms and my sister had to deal with them before so she was experienced,
but you know what? if it was so easy I would have taken it mostly for granted,
I think someone out there wants me to see and behold and realise,
that I am being watched over and I count, and so does my child.
its like one good thing after another keeps happening to me,
its like someone telling me I am in the right and being right for a change,
almost every time I start to feel like despairing something new and great happens.
I just got to hold on and keep doing whats right and good and start to BELIEVE.
This is so Righteous!

:D

Wow. Your son says alot. My son is two, in two days. He points and grunts. He knows sign language but still has to be prompted to use it, but at least we can give a list now and he will choose one. Still frustrating, he cries for everything.

Anyhow, Merry Christmas to you. Count your blessings this season. Life throws some nasty curves sometimes, and we often forget to take notice of all the good stuff happening at the same time :)

what makes a BIG difference in the learning curve is that while in the terrible 2-4 years of age
the children are trying and wanting to mimic there favorite parents, or seemingly trying to
get there attention by misbehaving or exploring their boundary's,
what you do is USE this to get their focus and to teach them.
but then again, I spend Hour's a day with my child, most people have
mates or other children or two jobs or other things going on in their lives,
or just do not have enough patience, you got to REALLY love children for this.
I would spend even more time then I do now with my child if it was not for me
having to also focus on Legal custody matters, but for the most part when my baby
is with me I focus on him.
he does not know what most of the words mean yet,
and he does not say them all the time, just these so far are some
of what he knows and what I am working on with him at this time
because he seems to repeat them fairly well.

I am sure my Ex is getting pissed at me feeling I am spoiling our child with attention,
and in many ways I am, but its not that I am wanting to please everything my child crys for,
no, its that I am using all my spare time to work with his education and attention and development.
and I never know if someday soon I wont have him in my life as much as I do now and I know
his mother wont work with him nearly as much as I do now,and she does not seem to care what
impact removing me from our child's life will have on him or how much I work with him,
so I am trying to teach him what I can while I can and
to spend any extra time I can with him as possible.

I think she feels I can easily be replaced or that she or "her boyfriend" can do better
with our child and that our child as young as he is would eventually get over me.
while in the relationship I couldn't focus as much on the children as I do now
because our relationship was having issues that needed attention and resolved.

If she does manage to keep him from me (doubtful) it will impact his life badly for the worse,
I fear he may regress or worse, but does she care? hell no,
if she did she wouldn't be trying to do what she is trying to do.
no, she is to stuck on her paranoias and her self and what she wants and
pleasing or impressing her boyfriend and that of wanting control, and sadly,- spite.

Ya know, I think I will get some non-toxic paints and get me and my son
to do pictures and hand/foot prints paintings, then I can keep them and put them
up on my wall, and perhaps make a couple extra to send to his mother,
when I sent my ex the peace offering Turkey her new boyfriend made her take
it back, now I am willing to bet he would do the same thing with the paintings,
now I am going to have to deal with his attitude for perhaps years to come,
but if I send over pictures me and my child made together and he tries to trash them
or send them back, she is going to vary quickly start not liking him.
yes she may be trying to do me and our child wrong, but if I look ahead far enough
and see that eventually it will all be over (I hope, and for the best), then we will need
to somehow start getting along for our child's sake, then with this in mind its best if I
keep trying to keep or make things smoothed over and more peaceful, perhaps if she
sees me as always trying to not be so offencive, and in fact always wanting to be peaceful
and friendly and willing to communicate, then perhaps she will loosen her stance and
calm down and work with me more and sooner over time dealing with issues about our child.
especially after she finds out that she is just not going to get what she wants,
and it would be childish of me to keep holding a grudge or even her keep holding a
grudge once its all over, provided that we both still have some custody over our child
when its all over.

its not easy, its hurts me deeply with what she has been trying to do,
I am so disappointed in her and who I see her becoming, but non the less,
change is inevitable and issues will eventually need to be addressed.

well anyways. things are going so-so, I get lonely allot when my son is not with me,
I keep wanting to find my self in a new relationship, but I know that even if I could
that right now would be a bad time because alls I would do is whine and focus more
on and about my child and the issues I am having to deal with over my child's custody
and his mother, that kind of baggage would most likely rune the relationship before
it even got off the ground.
but I sure could really use having a good friend to hold onto and hold me
and talk to now and then, going through all this crap on my own without not
a single friend or family member is sure eating me up in side.

well its confirmed, my Ex is NOT watching my posts on this forum.
I made some hand and finger paints with our child and made sure she got them,
she for some reason she thought that the lady in our child's infant and totaler program
had me work with our child doing finger painting and sent them to her,
if she was reading my posts she would have seen I had planed on
doing this anyways and to send them to her.

==========================================
Word list continued.

I do not know weather to be happy or sad,

Our child hardly was much bonded with his mother,
when she gone to the daycare to pick up our child he most always ignored her,
but when I gone to get him he most always ran to me.

I wanted him to have a good bond with his mother, its good and healthy for him, for both of them.
but at the same time it looks better for me in court with him primarily wanting me and reflecting that.

Now the last time she gone and got him from the daycare the daycare lady's said they was shocked
by our son suddenly wanting his mother when she come to get him, this shows she is actually giving him some
attention and giving him that much needed bonding they need.

Please do not get me wrong, normaly I love the idea of them bonding,
but she is wanting to take our child totaly away from me, to ruin our bond,
where I always wanted joint and fair equal custody,

if I win I will be sure it remains fair for all concerned,

but if she wins she will do her best to strip that bonding me and our child has
away from us by removing me the most she can out of our sons life,
in hopes that of removing me as much as she can out of
his life will remove me even more out of her life.

whelp,
my child's word list is majorly growing,
I been doing much more paintings with him,
he is getting much better at many things and games,
also got him some colouring crayons and books and picture flash cards.
got him back from the daycare the other day, it seems he is always coming
back from his mothers sick or scratched up or bruised or with diaperashed,
its all being kept record of.
I just got him some new toys and some glow sticks, he loves them.
one of the things I am working on is some major teaching of him that his
mother wont know about till we can bring him to court (if), then I can show
the judge what improvements in my care his is making compared to when he is with his mother.
I just moved, back to the same town I once was in,
close enough to my child's mother I could see them spit out the door (literally),
yet far enough away not to get into any trouble.
once they discover this I am sure it will trip them out, hehehe.
the good thing about this is whom ever wins primary custody the other would get more visitation rights.

The other day she told our daycare lady she was scared of me,
I couldn't understand why when in fact I felt it was more the other way around,
then I realized its how she would feel if our rolls was reversed, she knows she is doing wrong,
and because she knows she is doing wrong she is afraid of me being angry in a bad way with
her as she would do me if the rolls was reversed.
thing is, if she knows its wrong, then why do it? whats the point?
what helped me realize this is that for the longest she told others
that I was the one trying to strip custody from her, and that I was trying to get child support out of her,
both untrue, in fact it is the other way around, she wants full custody and child support while I was trying
to get her to spend time with our child and give her some support for when she has our child..
