..nor really but Evy reminds me of Nate. Even the background behaviors were similar. the biggest difference is Nate's acute sense of how things work always. The supersonic senses are very true in both children. Though when nate talks, he is very pedantic, like metronome sometimes YET very expressive. Their speech is slightly different but they are so much alike. differed. Our son isn't monotone.

My child also responses to questions very similarly but wouldn't go as far as the other child would. w

They even look alike - cute.

Seeing the video made me feel not so alone.I am used to seeing videos of people who "look like they are on the spectrum" That makes it easier in a way. When the disability looks hidden, your children are often labeled as behavior problems and such. Then you get family members who think that you are disciplining wrong grrr....

That is awesome, I never thought to look up videos on youtube to share with my husband. He has a hard time understanding what goes on with our son because he's rarely home. I just sent him this link!

Our Nathaniel doesn't talk in a monotone voice either and at first the psychologist said based off of that fact he didn't have AS. I beg to differ, I think some of these children learn coping skills. My son like Evy will randomly look into your eyes when talking to you.

I have been told as well that it's my son's behavior by random strangers in the supermarket who are just 'trying' to help. Funny how I never asked their help to begin with.
