We've just spent the most helllish 24 hours in hospital and my little girl was amazing throughout.

She wouldn't talk to the doctors or nurses, but when they left the room she'd talk to me.

She did everything they asked her without complaint, only crying when something really hurt.

Now we are home and things got scary again for a bit but she is asleep and on the mend once more.

Full story at my blog - http://leechbabe.wordpress.com/ (edited to add language warning).

Home safe, quiet, familiar, routine.

I'm glad your daughter is okay. It is amazing to many adults how kids can be so fearless, I think it's because they may not have had the life experience to know when something will turn out bad, so they tend not to worry. Although at the point she was at, I think anyone would just be wanting to get better.

Poor little one. I hope she continues to get better and that you can get some sleep.

Poor sweetie!! ! We went through something like this when my son was around 3-1/2 years old. I was exhausted from constant care, temp checks, cleaning up vomit, etc. It was awful. He just wanted to sleep in my arms.

I hope she is feeling MUCH better tomorrow and everyone can rest.

We ended up back in the hospital again :(

This time with antibiotics and she finally seems back to her usual self.

I was so thrilled when all her stims started returning, thats my baby :D

So once more home and hopefully this time we stay at home.

I'm off to clean up after 3 days away and then get some sleep.
