I got home today, and soon after the kids from school.
I went to go get a bite to eat, went looking for some powdered cheese to add to my numy food,
it was gone, I asked where was the over salted cheese, they said what cheese?
about a couple months ago one of the kids was making popcorn and added a crap load of salt to the cheese while it was in the package , I asked them that cheese, the child that did it said he didn't do it once again, an old argument, while we knew he did.
his basic argument, to make a long story short, was this,-
how do we know or can prove he did it if we did not see him do it, actually this seems to be the over all theme of all the kids , "nope I did not do it! the other child did it!, how would you know anyways since you did not see it happen!" .
(I shake my head).
can any of you see the frustrating humour in this?
how do you deal with this kind of kid logic?
I try to explain but it seems they are just looking for more loop holes they can jump through to get out of things.

Kid logic! Gotta love it.

My favorite is as you are disaplining one child for something and turn around only to see the other child DOING THE EXACT SAME THING. Can they not learn from each other's mistakes?

So everytime my kid pulls one of those (which is most of the time), I tell him look, been there, done that, got that T shirt, and probably did it better when I was a kid than you just did it. At least I didn't get caught!

Sorry, I'm being a very bad role model, but I was a really wild kid. Ancient history.
