Bella, I think you are right to be constrained. The internet is very public, and you've already posted enough for someone with sharp sleuthing skills to take advantage of. Pictures can be posted if everything else is kept discrete, but I think your situation is too unique.
All that said, I don't post pictures, either. My children haven't signed waivers saying I can share their images with the public at my whim
