My daughter jumped on top of me, just play fighting. I told her to stop it, it was making me really mad. She wouldn't so when I was fighting back I kind of pushed hit her in the face. She got upset and grabbed the xmas wrap roll and hit me in the eye. I covered my eye and said really angry "now I am going to get a black eye." Then I got up and slapped her on the back. Then she got really angry and starting physically attacking me. I pushed her off me.
She apologised later for hitting and I said "thankyou." Then there was a pause and I said "I am sorry too." She was pleased that I also apologised.
I want to keep her until New Years but I don't know how we are going to get along til then.

Have you been reading any of the parenting books social services suggested? Did you try reading this book I suggested to you earlier? http://www.amazon.com/How-Talk-Kids-Wil ... 0380811960 It should be available at your local library.

I am sorry you both have trouble controlling your frustrations. It is good that you accepted and apologized for your part in the escalation. I think that's important, that parents show they can accept consequences for their own mistakes, as well as expecting their children to.

Frustration, that is it. Today I have been swearing my head off. Mostly in town, in the mall and in shops. My daughter said 'stop swearing in public" but I didn't really care who was around or heard me cause I was feeling so :x
I don't know why. I didn't swear at her. Just in general and I think that is why I did. I didn't want to take it out on her, personally. She was really annoying me.
Asking and talking about stuff that's insignificant when I am trying to think about important stuff, like what i am doing and mostly because she has repetitive behaviours. She bounces around every where. She doesn't just walk. She walks on her tippy toes. She bumps into things. Swings stuff around and drops stuff. She invades my personal space. Like she walks so close to me that she often walks into me.
That is just her but it gives me this really agigtated feeling sometimes.
