right with our DD, didn't yet mention AS but will slowly. They are in their eighties and very limited in their thinking, probably have never heard of AS and will need to be gentley educated and informed. Anyway, they were surprisingly supportive and not shocked at all like I thought they would be! I guess they suspected for sometime what I have just gotten around to seeing and believing/accepting! I am pleased and happy that they are "on board". It just helps having your parents/grandparents be unconditionally accepting and loving. Just wanted to share GOOD news for anyone thinking of telling their families now. My DD hasn't been officially diagnosed but will be in the next few weeks. I was so amazed my uber paranoid mother wasn't like "don't have her labelled it will ruin her!" She was so confident that this is a good thing and so supportive! Thanks for listening. Lucy
