 :D Hiya, having been a member on WP for quite a while now, some of you may have realised that not only am I diagnosed on the spectrum but so are my 5 children.

I know of a few families in the UK that have a number of diagnosed children on the spectrum. Jackie Jackson of 'Multi Coloured Mayhem' book fame being one of them. Her son Luke wrote ' Freaks, Geeks and Aspergers', great book great family.

So that is the UK, but I am wondering if there is anyone else in the same boat, I am pretty sure there are bigger families than ours? I do know of one with a fair few more, but here in the UK again!

Genetics

So Wrong Planet members, I would be really grateful if you could come over and say Hi! I feel a bit lonely   ESPECIALLY anyone in any other countries, it would be brillliant to compare, services, advice and LIFE!!

If any of you to prefer to PM, that would be BRILLIANT TOO!

Many thanks, nothing sinister, just a topic that I don't remember reading much about. Ooh by the way my 5 children are ALL biologically MINE! However the first 3's dad is ADD/Aspie and the second 2's dad is a strong Aspie!! Ooh and my mum? Aspie, my dad Aspie! Grandparents............yea you got it!!

yes I have 3 children 2dxn, eldest not dxn but has aspergers, from my perspective as a mum and I am from Australia. This is also my first post. I have been reviewing peoples posts for awhile and it has been most helpful. I homeschool my youngest through a state run progam after seeing my other 2 struggle. One is in highschool and the other attending Tafe

Welcome MAGELLIC, thank you for doing me the honour of making this thread your first post! The first is always the most difficult! I too think WP is the best forum for those on and off the spectrum. You will be really welcome here so hope to see you more often!

Wow, you have 2 dx'd and think your eldest is Aspie too! Funnily (thought it is not funny) one of my eldest was the LAST to be diagnosed. He was the 'least problematic' so flew just under the radar. I finally got him diagnosed in June last year aged 20!! But he had to be referred to the PAEDIATRIC dept as no one in the adult department knew anything!! ! Dreadful isn't it.

There is a reason I ask so I will pm you. Watch in your inbox!!

Anyone else out there? Roll up roll up, we are part of an elite club...................? Or are we? I have a feeling there may be lots of us and no one is noticing? What do you think.

ANYONE ELSE, USA? CANADA, FAR EAST, EUROPE, AFRICA?? Come in all you international posters!!

Thanks in advance and thanks again Magellic x

  love the name tiredlady! I know that feeling all too well!!
Wow, 3, noooo you are deffo not alone.

I am going to change the thread title now and get down to brass tacks!!

ANYONE OUT THERE WITH 7 OR MORE DIAGNOSED CHILDREN??
We have a family with suspected 14 but only 7 DX'd so far!

I have 5 and I am diagnosed as are ALL the children.

I am looking for families with minimum 5 dx'd!! !!

WRONG PLANET, will almost certainly know for sure!
So is this the BIGGEST diagnosed cluster in the world? By the way ALL 14 children biologically belong to the one mum and the 14 kids share 2 dads, I diagnosed and the other?......not yet!
