I've noticed that a lot of the games listed here (other than PC only) seem to be of PS/Jap orientation. Do Aspies have a natural affinity towards Sony consoles/games I wonder?.. Bearing in mind that both the Wii and 360 have sold more units.

Japanese gamer pretty much = aspie, and the developers of those games are more likely to be aspies. It's very common for people over there to be shut up in their tiny flat with just a PS3 for entertainment, and the whole culture is far more polite and more tailored to people who have an exceptional talent in a field of their own.

While I was there there was a show about how some young women become 'big sisters' for guys who rarely go out, and have obsessions with games and anime, trying to help them reintegrate into society. Apparently it's becoming rather common for a lot of young Japanese people to withdraw completely.

Tokyo is kind of like aspie heaven for all the things we obsess over. The proper way to act in public for a Japanese person is to ensure peaceful, cooperative interaction. They don't bully (apart from in the highly competitive corporate world).

It's a great place to be an aspie, so it's no wonder the arts that come from Japan are more aspie acceptable.

I only wish I could go back, or everywhere else could be more like Japan..

Oh well...

Ganbate! - Do your best! (emphasis mine)

Oh yeah, I forgot one game. Bioware apparently is developing a Sonic RPG. Might be the first good Sonic game since the 16 bit days.

Yeah I agree, most of what Bioware puts out is pretty good though. I think Dragon Age is meant to be the successor to the Baldur's Gate games, which were damn awesome.. I much prefer the western style fantasy, or sci fi like KOTOR to jap/anime RPGs like FF.

Shame they haven't announced it for the 360 though, what with Mass Effect about to come out, and the now greater general acceptance of RPGs on consoles.

No More Heroes.
Others as well, but I'm can't be bothered to list them.

No More Heroes looks fun. I love crappy, home-made light-sabers.

Assassin's Creed turned out to be very disappointing.
