Since I don't own the console, I hope the following are indeed NES and not SNES.
My favourites are The Lion King, Ecco the dolphin and Star Ocean.

Ecco is on Sega Mega Drive/Genesis.

Anyone remember Superman for the NES? It was supposed to be a rare cartridge so it went for more money than it deserved on Ebay. I haven't checkly prices lately but that game was so silly. The music is played was from the hymn "Stand Up Fpr Jesus." I thought that was funny. Maybe in Japan they thought it sounded good enough to be an anthem for Superman.

My son has taken it upon himself to write walk-throughs on the net for the games that few remember. One under rated NES game that's wonderful is Guardian Legend.

I loved the Advantage joysticks, too. More like arcade playing.

Yai!
This is an SNES game.
I agree with you. It was a great game, but we're discussing NES games on this thread.

Tetris was horrible because it was the same pattern over and over.

I liked The Lone Ranger because it was a quest game but when you went inside the caves it was like being inside the maze in Festers Quest but you got to use the light gun.

I admit I bought the system for Darkman but was never very good at it.

I did love Rampart because me and my friend would play it over and over.

NES is Nintendo Entertainment System. I guess there an older version that had a robot but that doesn't count so don't start picking my claim about the NES being the original Nintendo game system.

I think the robot was called Rob.

I liked all of the Mega Man games.

Since the NES came out of 1985, I would bet many people on this forum have never owned a NES.

I was about 10 at the time. The only timeless classic on the system in my opinion is the Legend of the Zelda. Its the only game I could see myself still playing now even with its antiquated graphics.

Zelda II: The Adventure of Link.

(I wanted to find Legend of Zelda, but never quite got my hand on it.)
