Heh, if you want to get really aggravated with a game really fast try Syoban Action. It's a really freaking hard flash game. Type it in google to download it or look it up on Youtube.

That happens like every time I try to play a game. And yet, when other people get that angry at their games, my response is generally "geeze... it's just a game." I think video games make everyone angry. Either that, or everyone I've ever spent any amount of time around is crazy. Which is entirely possible.

I had a friend once who actually broke his game cube controller. At least I've never done that.

Sometimes I will, but only if I'm getting my ass handed to me by a computer in something that's not completely logic-based (like chess)... Whenever I play against another human, I rarely get pissed anymore unless some guy is TK'ing everyone...

I also remembered I get realy frustrated when I go against a computer that seems to have an unfair advantage, like it always knows where you are, use combos perfectly and In some games able to see what you are planning on your screen. Like at a time when I played my yugioh game there mainly the character Pegasus who you would start plan something but when you get the right card and bait it he acts like he know exactly what I am doing and wont fall for any traps. Or where in Oblivion if yo use chamelion the more percentage of the spell you have ie 40%, 80% will depend on how much you can see your enemy, while if they use any level of chameleon they appear fully invisible to you, like if they had a ring on that gives them only 5% chameleon.

Yes, I can definitely relate. In fact, I extensively banned myself from playing Pokemon Battle Revolution until who knows when because weeks ago, I kept getting frustrated with stargazer colosseum, almost to the point of swearing at the game and crying. I also kept feeling like approaching my sister with a bossy corporate attitude and blaming it on her.

In fact, when I was in midde school, I had a worse time controlling my emotions with video games. Whenever I got frustrated, I ended up screaming "OOh, that makes me so mad!" at the game, and whenever my sister tried to either calm me down or help me with the game, or even give me a compliment, I would yell out random gibberish, while pointing my finger at her.

So, yes, I can relate.

I can relate to that as well. That, in fact, is the exact reason why I got frustrated with Stargazer colosseum in PBR. Dang it, if I have to face that smirking Heracross one more time, I will EXPLODE!

As a matter of fact, I am not going to play Pokemon battle revolution either until I can create a really good team and make up my mind on it, or not until Pokemon Platinum comes out.

Nowadays, I don't usually get angry at my games any more. After quite a few days of slowly realizing that death isn't that bad in a game like Team Fortress 2 where death is inevitable, I seem to interpret death as a sort of a challenge. Even more so if they manage to 'dominate' me (getting 4 kills on someone in a row is a domination, for the people who haven't played TF2) so now, whenever I get killed when playing a multiplayer game I try a different approach to the conflict and, sure enough, I emerge the victor 9/10 times.

Some games still enrage me though. For example, Age of Conan. I know I'm not the only person who hates this game. In the two months that I played it, I never once came across another player who didn't either chop my head off or run away assuming I would do the same to him. This wouldn't be so bad if 1) a reasonable amount of the game world was non-pvp so that people could actually socialize and make friends instead of isolating themselves, because mmorpgs are all about the community anyway - the whole appeal in world of warcraft was to team up with 40 other people to go stomp on a night elf's face. Also, 2) if the game was better balanced. I'm no game designer, but I can clearly see that a game where anyone can kill anyone else instantly by hitting one button is not fun at all for the general public. I just shook my head and growled with disgust whenever I was playing a tank class and got one-shotted by a healer.

That's my $0.02 on the subject.

Or I'll get angry that I can't beat the final boss (Mastermold on X-Men Legends) because I only focused on keeping a certain group leveled up properly (which lead me to keeping everybody up at the same level & using a strategy guide to finally beat the game). C &C Red Alert 2 is also where I got frustrated in that I kept getting rushed on a level used a strategy guide & managed to blitz my way to the second to last mission & the damn soviets kept nuking me left right & center (but I did have a laugh chronoing their vehicles into the water). That leads me to uninstall the game finally

I Get Aggrivated Playing Assassins Creed And Gears Of War. When I Tried To Defeat The Last Target (Robert At The Funeral) I Was Defeated, So, I Smashed The Control Onto The Wall, Causing A Large White Scrape Up The Wall And A Dent On The Control. I Was Beaten By RAAM On Gears Of War, And I Punched The Door Of The Cupboard On My Bed, Which Is Now Worryingly Loose.

The most aggravating game I've played in a long time is Medal of Honor: European Assault. There is no ability to manually save, and no checkpoints... you only get a limited number of "revives" (ie: "lives.") These are almost useless, because if you died in the middle of a firefight, you revive right there in the same hail of bullets which killed you in the first place. Then, once you run out of revives, you have to start the whole level over. I also got pretty aggravated with trying to keep my squad members alive, who have incredibly stupid AI and are always getting themselves killed... but you have to protect them in order to gain some much needed medkits. I played through most of MOHEA, but I got so fed up with dying and starting over from scratch that I never finished the game.

I Suffer From The EXACT Same Thing As You. Stupid AI, Starting Levels Over, Pointless Revives, I Actually Nearly Broke My T.V. Getting Angry At This.

Yeah, I get aggravated at a lot of my favorite games. (Civilization IV can be particularly trying...)

So I keep a nice store of low-stress games on hand. For the PC: The Sims 2, Virtual Villagers, Chuzzle, Cute Knight...

For GameCube: Harvest Moon, virtual pinball, Animal Crossing...
