Unusually Difficult Games
The only problem in games I have is the objectives, battles aren't too hard. Finding ways into a building, escaping a burning building - not easy.
On games such as Need For Speed series, - MW in particular, the skills I use seem to mean absolutely nothing and the cop cars seem to catch me up pretty easy (level 1 wanted) I'm using actual techniques that would be used by professionals in a tuned car. My Nitrous Oxide means nothing, I seem to catch up to a car at a rate of about - never.
Last time I played it, a cut scene went to show the falling of a water tower, but my action was to avoid the spike strip near there, in the cut scene, my car goes over it and I'm screwed. All I had to do was lose the attention of the police and I could take on position 5 (I think) I'm just glad the drag racing was taken out as getting the take off perfect with a keyboard is impossible with an engine that has high rate fuel flow injectors of around 600-1000cc - maybe more, and the revs go from idle to max in a vrey short time. Lane changes were a b***h, I could change lanes quicker (I have done so in real life)
When I played the demo of NFS: Underground I sucked at it big time. I was never good at the races and the drag race. I play the full game and for a random thing I plays the demo, and I win with my 350Z
I do have this uncanny ability to get stuck at one place on a game for hours, I give up and two years later I go bacl to it (I leave all saved games and installed games on my PC) and decide to tackle to problem and where I had problems, I have no problems with it.
I remember playing Q3:Arena for the first time on the EASIEST skill setting, Phobos was a b***h to beat. I take the game to my friends place and he has no problems with it. Since then I have managed to adapt and now Phobos is very easy. I put it down to knowing what's in the map and where it is and WHY I keep getting beaten.
Last time I played a level I think I got one frag, and that was it until the bots got something like 7 and then I implemented a new strategy, I was getting frags as though I was playing "like crap for fun"
Sometimes easy is too easy. When it comes to fun, I like to have fun on "normal" or middle. Easy can sometimes be like taking candy from a baby - haha

Hrm. I found Pokemon Diamond hard.
But I think that was to my own faults (I got a high-level Drifloon early on through luck). I need to go through sleepy training.

Hard? I had loads of fun with the Germans as the Russians on Veteran. I've got as far as the Americans, still got to do "Hill 400" Oh, boy ... I'm playing my standard thing - wait some time and go back to it

Don't remember what the difficulties were - it's been a while since I played it. I'm pretty sure I played it on the hardest difficulty. I must've died close to 200 times during my playthrough. The only really easy one was the one where you're driving a Churchill tank (which made up for a lack of difficulty by being more fun than the rest of the game put together). To be honest, I didn't like COD2 nearly as much as the first one, because the first one had more memorable "set-ups" and setpieces. The Stalingrad campaign in COD1 had a great introductory scene that showed you everything you needed to know about the Russian army and the situation in the city. I especially liked the part where the other guy had to shoot the commissar in order to radio for artillery support.

I Could Give You Some Help On Pokemon Diamond If You Want.

I agree with pretty much everything you said there. COD1 was a real classic... it was almost like being in a war movie, and it was fun. While I thought COD2 was a decent game, it kind of lacked those "classic" elements, and it wasn't very memorable. And in terms of difficulty, it was harder... it never took much to kill the player, so you can barely get off a couple shots before having to take cover... and when you do, grenades start pelting you like rain. And another thing that bugged me... what's up with all the fat Germans? LOL, it's like every other Nazi is a clone of Sgt. Schultz. I still play COD2 from time to time, but it's not one of my favorites.

Actually, your guy shoots him because you were seen to be turning back, and looking a coward - "From now on, our motto will be, 'Not one step back' " The only annoying part of that was, if you wanted to get a riflr behind you, you had to face getting shot.
There are some hilarious "English" parts though - lol. In the beginning of the British troops on COD on landing, it's "Brace for LARNDING!! !" That's not quite right...
In COD2 or COD:UO there is another part where the British was heard saying "Anti-<something> weapon" So many errors... We British give "Anti" with an "EE" on the end, much as other languages see the "I"
I played COD2 on Greenhorn for a couple maps, gave up cos it was too hard, then I go back and play it on "Normal" and do much better...

The way I remember it is, you have to go backward to call for artillery support, but since that would be taking a step backward, the commissar would shoot you if you tried.

I have no interest in the COD games, I have played a demo and found them hard and not very fun, I realy didnt see what all the buzz was about it. Makes me think of the Arby and Chief episode, I think episode 3 from doing a google search, here is the pretty graphic yet terribly drawn case that Chief made that housed a cookie with a hole in it. http://img166.imageshack.us/img166/2600/xbocksec4.jpg
