MGS completely changed the way I veiwed life. Its kind of difficult to explain at the moment exactly what I mean, since I am too sleepy. But I will say that it also made me take a bigger interest in politics and modern history :D

Ace Attorney also made me better at argueing

The first time I played Thief 2, afterwards I tried playing Quake and I felt like I was permanantly crouching, very fast...and I kept having to remind myself that hiding in the shadows wasn't going to prevent monsters from seeing me ¬_¬ Had the same thing going on in real life (too bad I'm too clumsy to be sneaksy enough, but I try anyways, and sometimes succeed), and even in movies, I'd see some guy sneaking around and get all anxious because he was doing it wrong. This lasted for quite some time @_@

Also one time, after playing a few rounds of Crazy Taxi, I was driving to work (at midnight) and just barely noticed this truck parked on the side of the highway exit I was taking (no lights on), and it took me a second to remember that I can't just plow right through it :x

I wanted to be on the bomb squad because of FPS games. Jet Set Radio Future and Tony Hawk's American wasteland got me into graffiti. GTAIV influences me negatively. Some games make me wish I were in a gang for some reason. Halo 3 has really affected my life because I don't have time for anything else. And it made me want to buy a sniper rifle :).

Theme Park. It was the first PC game we had bought. It taught me to put more salt on fries to increase sales of drinks

Sonic the Hedgehog - pretty much started my interest in gaming all those years back.

Yah, same here. And Sonic also started me on comic books, but thats another thread.

Anyway, the 1 video game that has affected me more that any other game is Lost in Blue 2. It's where you play as either a boy or a girl that is stranded on an island with the charcter you didn't pick as your fellow castaway. Althow the island itself is fake, (tigers, deer and gorrilas on the same island? 8O ) if I didn't know any better, I'd say the charaters were real. Unlike many other games, they actually get you to care about the characters, and not just about beating the game.
