Which Mario Game Is Your Favorite?

My favorites were Super Mario Bros. 3, Yoshi's Island, and Super Mario 64.

Yoshi's Island is my favorite.

SMB3

It was the only Mario game I ever owned, apart from Dr. Mario.

Original SMB all the way...

My church actually has a working arcade machine that plays the original SMB (although rigged so you don't have to put coins in...) Talk about badass...

I voted other because my favorite Mario game is still the original Donkey Kong.

old skool mario for the nes still the best game and super mario world for the super nes.

It is a close one between Paper Mario: The thousand Year Door, the one that sold at least 40 million(SMB 1). At least, those two are fighting for second, third goes to Super Mario RPG, and first goes to SMB3! That is very much so fun, more so after you figure out the N-spade card patterns.

It's a bit of a tie between SMW and SMB3 for me but I'm leaning towards SMW.

I will say SMB64, if only for bringing the series and myself to 3D.

Mario bros 3. It was the first game I ever played, and I still play it up to today. But Super Mario Sunshine isn't far away. Super Mario Sunshine was so underrated. The plotline was a little boring, I agree with that, but the levels were amazingly designed, I enjoyed playing through each and every one of them. Even though the secret levels were a pain and I died dozens of times trying to complete! XD But Super Mario Sunshine was really good. Mario Bros 2 was weird...I still liked it, but it was very much unlike the other two Mario bros games (They actually had 4 Mario Bros games I think, did I mention the Lost Levels addition that was never released in Europe?) My favorite is stuck between Mario Bros 3 and Super Mario Sunshine. But I voted Mario Bros Sunshine. Super Mario Galaxy was totally amazing too, but I've been too lazy to pick up my Wii and play it lately...

Mario Kart is fun to play too.

I vote other because I like the Mario Kart racing games! Mario Kart Wii online is fun.

Super Mario 64 is the best video game of all-time, in my opinion. It was the first video game I ever had. My favorite levels are Lethal Lava Land and Rainbow Ride. My favorite star to get is 100 coins in Lethal Lava Land; my second-favorite star is the eight red coins in the extra level "Over the Rainbow." I'm a big fan of Super Mario 3, too, but nothing can beat Super Mario 64! I really like Super Mario Land for the GameBoy, too. It was the first GameBoy game I ever had.

My favorite is Super Mario World. Main reason: Nostalgia

I was obsessed with this game when I was 8-12 years. I played it with my sister (she was obsessed too), and we only thought in SMW

Off the top of my head, i would say Super Mario 64. I always think about the freedom and the high jumping abilities you have to traverse the levels, and then there's the bob-omb battlefield music!
