I'm a DS fan all the way - I love the touch screen and the graphics are a good quality while being pretty affordable!

I think the ds is better because of the awesome games, camera and multiplayer, but i use my psp for almost only music.

I'm definitely sticking with the DS on this. It has great sequels (New Super Mario Bros., Kirby Canvas Curse, Jump Ultimate Stars), awesome pick-up-and-play originals (Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan!, Meteos), and more games I'm looking forward to (Kingdom Hearts 352/2 Days, Mario and Luigi 3). The touch screen really added a lot of depth to the game play. I still have the original model to this day, and I've never been happier with a handheld.

As for the PSP, I own one too and all I can say is that it's not as enjoyable as the DS. The only games that I found worthy of owning one are Lumines and Patapon. The other games I have (or had) either disappointed me (Loco Roco) or were just plain fustrating (MGS: Portable Ops). And I don't care about the multi-media capabilities of the PSP, because I get a gaming console for the GAMES. I honestly thought there would be great games for it when I got it, but all I see are sequels or ports of console games that have worse controls and graphics. Oh well, at least Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep will come out eventually.

Ds for playing Games and homebrew

psp for running homebrew like psptube and playing ps1 games (psp games are rubbish)

You can't say one is better as they have different specialities but i'd say the psp is rubbish unmodded

I have both, and I love both. I can't really say one is better than the other, since they are so different.

I did vote PSP, though, because music is important for me and there is a difference in how music sounds in PSP and Nintendo DS.

I own both but i like my PsP more because it appeals more to an older crowd. Plus i love monster hunter and play it more than anything. Its the best -selling psp game of all time in japan and has a small fan-following here. It's about killing wyverns, dragons, and giant monsters with swords, hammers, bows, lances, and primitive guns. You can play with four people and its strongly recomended you play with friends cuz its really hard but i've been able to get far by myself and with my high-funtioning autistic neighbour and friend who has this game. It takes around 500 hours to get to the end. Heres some videos. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6O7Eg2spJ1w http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MiG1zT67eV4

I think you meant you love your PSP more. Even so I guess you love both, though, and that caused the typo.

I voted ds because i have only ever owned nintendo products. I have a ds lite with a flash card, i use it to listen to music and watch videos, i also have about 50 games on it . Ds has so many great rpg's, my favourite at the moment is Phantasy Star Zero.

Both.

DS for the games, PSP for emulators and homebrew.

wow hard decision, but right now i'm going with the psp. with crisis core and dissidia. [and that's japanese dissidia]

when kh 358 days comes out i might change my mind.

cause then i'll have days and ff4 to compete with the psp.

Though honestly, I play my GBA more than my DS.

Well, I got back into Animal Crossing, and I found out there's a true sequel to Puzzle Quest (Puzzle Kingdoms), and I've been slowly trying to play Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (the controls suck)...so I've been playing quite a bit more DS lately.

I think my battery is starting to give up the ghost though =/ Seems like it barely holds a few hours' charge. Or maybe I just play it a lot longer than I think I do?
