I'm on Moon Guard, it's still one of the better RP servers. Just don't be a bloodelf if horde and stay clear of Goldshire if alliance, you should be ok. You don't have to role play, but people tend to be more mature then other types of servers. Horde tends to win more on this battle group.
I am currently taking a vacation from WoW and playing EQ2. Will go back to WoW after the next expansion.
Hey, my main is a Blood Elf on that server, and i wouldnt give him up for anything.

I have met some very good players who played Blood Elfs... but the naked public ERP (Erotic Role Play or cybering) by 13 year olds (or people who never mentally got past 13) gives the race a bad rap.
That is, unfortunately, quite true. You previous post should have said, "Avoid SMC and Goldshire if at all possible." Trust me, it is quite disconcerting walking into the Inn, and there is a player from each race, dancing nekkid doing their impression of "YMCA."
I've heard this is quite common - thank the Light this behavior never caught on on Darrowmere server, because many of the early human missions require regular visits to the Goldshire Inn (the alchemist's brother works there, as does the first Cook trainer; also, one of the steps in a later mission, one that starts in Darkshire, stops in an upstairs room in this Inn).
The duelists can become quite annoying, though...
