Sorry, I can't help you. But I do know that a certain website could! Try googling "Paper Mario Help" or some local sites and stores. I'm sure you may find something useful. I reccomend using Amazon if you want a self help book.

My favourite badge setup for Paper Mario is Dodge Master for dodging and action command, Power Bounce, Power Plus and Spike Shield for attacking.

Here is some guides - http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/n64/game/198849.html

I can't be of much help with the timing issue (I'm pretty bad at it myself) but for walkthroughs I always use gamefaqs.com. Dunno if they have Paper Mario but they probably do, they seem to have everything, and they definitely have at least Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. In fact they're great for walkthroughs for just about any game, and most rpgs or more complex games will have smaller guides for specific stuff like equipment or bosses or skills.

I got a good idea about the badge system I liked how they can be used for players who arent good at timing is that an aspie thing or just me.Can you reccomend a gamefaqs author with a good style. When you level up which stat do you increase for example
Paper mario series-Heart points.Flower Points,and badge points
and for Mario and Luigi series-Hit points, bro points Superstar saga only,Power,Defense,Speed and stache.I recentley beaten mario rpg but have yet to beat paper mario or mario and luigi superstar saga.

Ah wow, I just startded playing Paper Mario 64 a few days ago 8)

Well, I personally just upgrade badge points a whole load, although the save I'm on now stopped letting me upgrade badge points :(
Upgrading badge points leaves more room for customisation ( :?: ) so that's what I go for. Although I have no problem with timing so I get by pretty well. Really, I don't think it matters too much what you upgrade, as long as you make use of what you upgraded. example; if you upgrade FP, use special attacks whenever possible, if you upgrade HP more though then use special attacks sparingly (:?:) .
Do whatever works for you

I actually have good timing, but its probally because I practiced a lot. I used to alwayse hit the button too soon but after a few dozen tries I found I was getting better. I'm shure that there many mini games on the inernet that measure reaction time that you could practice with, but dont expect an overnight change, it does take a wile. And if you work too much in one day, then you'd get tired out and the practice wont help much.
