That looks amazing, it looked a great mix between just play and nice looking scripting. Looks like about the same stage as what the "hunting the Big daddy" video was, and that was amazing then, but this makes me want to play.

I liked the part where they took theshotgun out of the guy's hand and shot him with it just useing telikeses.

I'm interested in the almost if not complete philosophical turn around in the new game's location compared to Rapture.

From the trailer and this video I can say the location isn't the only changed thing in the Bioshock universe.

The story and all the background is one of the many reasons I love the Bioshock series so much. I love to go around and try to piece together what happened in the location I'm in and learn how it came crashing down.

Along with good game play I also adore a good back story that makes you think about the world it's in and not just wanting to beat the game.

^^^ So, we're going from Ayn Rand gone wrong (big surprise  ) to the Gilded Age run amok... I don't see a big change philosophically.

PS

How much you want to bet that city was established by an imperialist robber baron?

:P

PPS

Okay, so the city wasn't established by a robber baron--just the puppet government of the robber barons in 1900. The same government that declared war on Spain so W.R. Hearst could sell newspapers.

Apparently Collumbis is completly opposite to Rapture in a few way, well there is the obvious ocean to sky thig. But Rapture was made in secret, by private investors, while Collumbis was made very publicy by the American government as a way to show off and say "this is what we can do", though dissapeared soon after launch. Apparently instead of being about capatalist extremes, it American elitism, and very xenophobic, actually a big difference if you realise that Rapture had people from all over the globe.

I don't know how I feel about it just yet.. I'm worried that they're going to make too many sequels and eventually ruin it, like so many other developers have done. I'm keeping my fingers crossed on this one.

You should check out the game Penumbra. That's one of my favorite games.

Watched this the other night on XBL. Amazing video; some of the stuff the guy did blew me away.

Really? I only found the second one predictable. The first one kept me on the edge of my seat the whole game. The third one I don't even consider as a part of the series it was so bad.

The truly bad part was the end it was a slap to the face.

The only reason they made the third one was because the fans kept badgering them about what happened after and ect.. A good game is suppose to leave the player wanting more it doesn't mean they're suppose to give them more.

I also thought the ending in Black Plague was kinda rushed and disappointing. I liked playing it more than I liked finishing it. FrictionalGames isn't very good at endings. Their newest game, Amnesia, has three ending and they were all rushed and really bad.

Technically, it's just the "Shock" series, since the first two were called System Shock.

Looking forward to this one...not really interested in BioShock 2 so much, since I heard it wasn't even as good as the previous one, and I thought that one was far too easy (on the hardest settings).
