That's how I got my hat...

Speaking of references, I especially enjoyed the Son-of-Sam reference.

For anyone who bashes the Survival skill for being useless, I've found it's purpose. For one thing, prepared food can give you way more hp back upon consumption than a stim pack. The only difference is it's slower to heal you. Although on Hardcore mode a stim pack heals you slowly as well.

The thing that I found to be cool though is that I'm role-playing as a ninja, and Survival can be used to make potent poisons for melee weapons including thrown weapons :D

Poison doesn't work on robots but it works on pretty much everything else. I currently have a 70 in Survival and Bleak poison does 150 extra DAM over 10 seconds. I'm awaiting 90 in Survival so I can test out Tremble. Tremble supposedly makes humanoid opponents with weapons shake uncontrollably and have difficulties fighting back :)

Poison is fun though and like I said can be put on a thrown weapon like the knife, hatchet, or spear so poisons can be applied to a target at range before I run in and crush my enemies with "Oh, Baby!" :P

But I'm playing a stealth character so I kinda have to poison my target if I don't just back stab them in the first place. It adds flavor to assassinating my foes though I guess :)

Now only if I could find a more suitable ninja weapon. A super sledge doesn't necessarily cry out ninja in my opinion

I am just role playing though... when it comes to deathclaws I have a silenced sniper rifle to deal with them... otherwise every other enemy is fair game for role playing without guns 8)

I will have to try that and see how it works :)

I however always forget there's a block button and hadn't thought about that

I hadn't really thought of blocking because I play evasively when I fight. As in I side step or make turns around an enemies strike. This doesn't do so well with deathclaw or carzador so blocking just might work :)

The game felt oddly short.

I must say the Legion faction was a great villain. I liked the Kings as well.

I can't wait for the expansion packs.

Yes the main quest was very short. However there is much more in the game that you can do quest-wise or in the way of exploration that I think the developers expected the player to do. Also you have to give the devs a little credit for trying to make 4 faction choices for an ending although it wasn't that complicated of a split between factions... as in many quests were the same with different dialogue or goals but ultimately was the same quest.

I too can't wait for the expansions to release though :D

I particularly like dlc with new weapons, toys, and armor :D

I just found the final snow globe I needed of the 7 snow globes without a guide or any help :D

It was oddly fun trying to hunt them down solo knowing the world is so big and there were only seven. Two were in areas that I would have never looked had I not started to find patterns in their placement. With knowing the patterns I searched area's I suspected would possibly have them and the very last places I would have guessed had them, and they were in very secluded/hidden areas within them. So I would say for anyone hunting them without a guide or help, that two are in very non-obvious areas. As in five of the snow globes are out in the open and hard to miss, while the last two I found were in extremely easy to miss areas

Sadly I can't redeem my snowy globes for a reward from Mister House because he's dead :(

the legion is not evil, well its far from good atm, but if you listen to what he has to say, by conquering the ncr he will gain there advantages and not there disadvantages. i for one believe the ideal form of government is a benign dictatorship, his plan is to take over the ncr, than civilize his military and make a true civilization, like rome. in turn, ceaser is not evil, hes just doing what he has to do to make things better for every one, once he takes over ncr there civilization wont go away, he hopes his army will adopt the good things about ncr, and the ncr adopts the good things about the legion, forging a much better civilization.

I haven't found blocking their attacks to be useful. Since Deathclaw attacks seem to ignore DT, blocking only momentarily stops them but you still take damage anyway. Better to take them out from a distance.
