Projected timeline:

* 3DS is released
* Nintendo receives a class-action lawsuit for false advertising when millions of people find themselves experiencing severe eyestrain after 30 minutes of gameplay
* Nintendo releases Nintendo 3DSi, slimmer and with 3D removed, and sells it for $150
* I actually buy it

You can turn the 3-D off with the slider and how it affects people depends on the person. Some people said after 5 minutes eye strain some 30 and some none. It depends on the person which is why there's the slider.

I know there's a slider... I just don't want to pay extra for 3D that I will never use anyway.

It's all coming true.

I'll wait for the 2D-only model.

Really looking forward to it, just because of Animal Crossing. :D However because of the price, I will have to wait quite awhile to get it. Bummer.

I'm getting it shortly after it's released. I've been waiting many years for a new Kid Icarus and Pilotwings sequel.

Whatever the problem with the 3DS, it can't be any worse than the Cyber FX:

And remember, some people can't stand the 3D effect.

I'll buy it, but I'll probably not play it in 3D often.

I'll get it this summer.

After the Ocarina of Time remake comes out.

I'll get one eventually. Likely exclusively for the new animal crossing.

Why pay so much money if you don't want it in 3D? Unless you really want games that are coming out for it.

That. I couldn't care less about the 3D effect. But a new Resident Evil(hopefully starring Jill...?), a new Kid Icarus, Metal Gear Solid and Ocarina of Time remake, just to name a few? Worth the 250 dollar investment, especially since it'll only grow from there.

Personally, I don't care if the OoT remake adds in any extra content or anything. I'm buying it just because of the better Link model. It always bugged me that OoT Link looked so generic/plain, and the sword belt is a welcome addition, IMO.
