I LOVE fighting games. It's one of my favorite genres. Unfortunately I'm not the best at them. I'm decent, but there are plenty of people who can beat me down pretty easily. I need to get Super Street Fighter IV, but I'm too poor at the moment.
I loved Fighting Vipers for the Sega Saturn, which I still have. I don't know why Sega decided to keep making more Virtua Fighter instead... FV was waaaay better.
There's always a bigger fish in the sea so I've got no illusions about my lack of skills, though I've won 4 different tournaments now (SFIV, SSFIV, SCIV, and Tekken 6). We just gotta practice up until we're better than what we were before!
Apparently SSFIV is going to be getting a DLC update with Arcade Edition (smart move by Capcom, not making it a disc game this time). Right now I'm playing MVC3 but I'll be sure to put SSFIV back in the PS3 once the DLC comes out.

My interests have changed over the years, but there was one point where fighting games interested me. (I swear everything on earth was an interest of mine at one point or another) I watched the arcade games like Mortal Kombat and Tekken, but I was too afraid to play them because I didn't want to die. I remember other ones like Killer Instinct and Neo-Geo something or other. The only fighting games I played are Dead or Alive 3 and Soul Calibur 2. I liked them both, although Soul Calibur 2 is better. In fact, it's one of my favorite games of all time.

Soul Calibur 2 is a pretty solid game indeed so that's an understandable pick for all-time fave.
I wish Killer Instinct would get a revival: it seemed like such a popular game at the time of its release and I'm sure with the right marketing campaign it could be a big deal again.
