I found Vault 68 hilarious. While not in the video games, it is mentioned in the Fallout Bible. It's a vault where there are 999 men and only one woman. I wonder how that turned out...

Oh that was a bright idea 8O

None. How you could be terrified by any mere Vault when you have a BFG like Vengeance strapped to your back? 8)

Vault 11 was rather worrying, not just because of the experiment itself but also how organised the residents became about it (setting up the blocs, etc.)

I wouldn't have called 22 inhumane/horrible as the experiment seemed fairly harmless (nothing to say that the Enclave or anyone else knew where those would lead) certainly gets points for scary though.

34 I'd also have said was scary (leaving that many people in a confined space with free access to lots of guns was never going to end well.) Same for 19, the number of ways they found to try and make someone paranoid is rather scary (and also enough to make you paranoid  )

22 was monstrously inhumane and horrible, IMO. Each person in there was turned into, basically, a plant zombie.

The runts in that vault were children, you know. Children that died from the disease, and then came back to life from the fungus.

Vault 108, simply because it stands out for me as the biggest "WTF" moments in Fallout.

"Ha ha ha, Gaaaaaaary!"

I think it was the bigger of the vaults, where the larger mutated one was trapped or something. Or down in the subway stations, those runners were annoying as hell.
