I like the Zelda games. I'm not very good at RPGs in general though. At one time I got pretty far in Zelda: The Windwaker. To where they had the Deku Trees, and the little Deku Leaf band. Which was so cute.

I admit though, mostly my interest in the series is that I think Link is really hot. I mean adult link, not kid Link in the games like Windwaker. Who saw the promo for the new Zelda game Twilight Princess from E3? Link as a werewolf, how cool is that?!

I saw the trailer. The game will be awesome, Link turning into a warewolf. Also link fighting on horseback. I can't wait for the game to come.

New trailers of the new Zelda are on GCCafe.com. They are cool trailers of Zelda gameplay.

I've heard that the new Zelda game is based on a Japanese Manga (also called 'The Twilight Princess') which was in turn based on the 1980s movie 'Ladyhawke' starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Matthew Broderick (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089457/)

This would explain Link turning into a Wolf and Zelda turning into a hawk. (I'd like to point out that this rumour came about before they announced Link would turn into a wolf, so I think it sounds pretty legit) Also makes way for more of a romantic subplot.

Not sure if I like that though... Personally I'd prefer an original story.

Yeah, you gotta admit that original storylines are better. Still it sounds fun. I wonder what Werewolf Link would be like?

And i've already heard about riding on horseback.

Well in the screenshots and videos he seems to have some strange creature riding on his back when he is a wolf, and the creature's head seems to sprout giant hands and things. o_O

On Gamespy.com, you can watch 30 minute footage of the Zelda demo. It is really cool and talks about wolf etc. and shows dungeons, towns, etc.

The person (yes, PERSON) riding on werewolf Link's back is Midna, supposedly the twilight princess.

Also, when link goes into the Twilight realm, he turns into werewolf link. Does that sound all too familiar to you? (Hint: LoZ: a link to the past has link warping into the dark world and turning into a bunny.)

It sure does. Zelda always have themes that carry throughout.

Technically he's not a werewolf, he's a lycanthrope.

"Lycos" in greek means "wolf", and "anthropos" means (in greek) "human". Just for information.

Quite right. Interestingly, werewolf is derived from old english words meaning man-wolf, but that refers to a particular kind of lycanthrope.
