Okay, I have a question, does anyone play these games for the DS, if so, this question concerns why the two main characters of the story cannot evolve even though I've solved the whole issue concerning Cresselia, Palkia, and Darkrai, I made Cresselia a part of my team as well as Manaphy, I defeated Palkia and Darkrai, that whole story was solved, I even solved the whole story that had to do with Dialga and Dusknoir and Grovyle, but, what I'm wondering is, why aren't my two main characters, mind you, I have a level 51 Torchic and a level 51 Piplup as my main characters, but why can't they still not evolve after everything was solved and every story was completed, the Luminous Spring will only allow me to evolve other Pokemon team members, but, it will not allow me to evolve Torchic and Piplup, why is that, does anyone know!?

I don't really know but, was one of the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games based on the idea that your main pokemon character was really a human turned into one. Maybe that doesn't explain anything. I don't remember the beginning of this story for this game bored me pretty fast a few years ago, and I didn't complete it. If I could turn into Blaziken though, it would have kept my attention.

Yeah, this was the one where the main character, in my case, used to be human and her Pokemon partner was Grovyle, they both fell into a warp hole and somehow got separated and than my character is found on the beach but transformed into a Pokemon, in my case, Torchic, it turned out at the very end, it was Darkrai who screwed up time and space all together, it wasn't Dusknoir or Grovyle or Dialga or me or my partner (Piplup) at all, it was all Darkrai's doing, but, after I had defeated Dusknoir, and Primal Dialga and Palkia and Darkrai, everything went back to normal, the whole time and space continuum was fixed and back to normal after Palkia fixed that when Darkrai went into the warp hole and Palkia destroyed it, so, I'm still a Torchic and my partner Piplup is still in the basic stage, we couldn't evolve after all that had been done and solved, I don't know what to do, really

I have explorers of Darkness, I have gotten past the Regigigas, and am currently in the spacial rift with I think Palkia trying to erase me, I just can't seem to beat Palkia who's attack can hit everywhere in a room.

Bradleigh, if you have cheat codes for that game that give you 999 HP for both you and your partner, and if you keep collecting a lot of Revival Seeds, than you'll do just fine battling against Palkia, the only reason Palkia wants to get rid of you and your partner is because he was deceived by a fake Cresselia who in reality is Darkrai undercover, once you defeat Palkia, the Fake Cresselia will try to get rid of you, than the real Cresselia will arrive and reveal Darkrai to you and your partner I believe that's how it goes, but if you get as far as allowing Cresselia to join your team, sooner or later you'll be able to allow Manaphy to your team after Chatot arrives in Sharpedo Bluff to tell your team that Manaphy came back and that whole little short story will play through, but, like I said, if you have cheats for that game that give you 999 HP for you and your partner and if you keep collecting Reviver Seeds, you'll do just fine, I beat Palkia without a problem.

That's pretty much what all of the PMD games started off with, in exception to the ones for Wiiware which were Japan exclusive only.

But, meh. I don't exactly know much about the OP's evolution problem, (if they're even still active). It might be a glitch, but I dunno.

But I've actually beaten Darkrai in both Explorers of Time and Sky, and I haven't yet for Darkness... But I'm playing through it again right now as a Skitty with a Squirtle partner, (who I named after another member on here).

But, anyway... Yeah. I've been meaning to comment on this thread, despite how old it is.
