Hmmmm... maybe I should try sitting. I guess I really don't need to stand. I think I'll definitely give the game another shot one day, whenever I actually feel like turning on my wii, and assuming my wiimote decides to work without having to be recharged by that waste of $20 charging station. I wish I had just stuck to rechargeable AAs. :(

Ugh, I hate batteries. Hopefully someday they'll find a way to just have things run on magic or psychic energy.

I have a similar beef with uberslop , that company exemplifies whats wrong with the games of today sure their amazing and original/beautiful set pieces , though everything else seems like a after thought* from the boring combat I'm fine with easy though please make it satisfying like Yakuza, worse yet ezio whateverhisnameis often doesn't do what you expect him to do to often sadly, worse yet the postal missions feel so underdone and pointless I don't have a problem with "boring " missions though try to make it interesting please again I think uber should look to Sega they make going to the store and buying tissues intresting ! Looks in the direction of Shenume,Yakuza etc. Worse yet where is the humour ? Did people in Renaissance Italy not have one I guess not with all that Tenia going about. I think that's why I welcomed Douche Nukem Forever and Kane and Lynch 2 so refreshing and original and humourous and kinda %^&% up to , a breath of fresh air!

I can't believe I was sucked in to all the hype of ACrudd like a beautiful model that puts out in quick succession without question you can't refuse can you? until you get to know her better.......

I highly recommed you try out Yakuza (my GTA) :) it has one of the most memorbale /funny secenes I've seen in a video game , it involves mafia types acting out their baby fanatasies

*I think I may be suffering from the effects of endofconsolelifecyletieitis

I am just careful with buying games new and play demos first.

As for me, I can't recall any game that I've regretted purchasing. Sure I've played disappointing games before, but I don't remember actually regretting buying a game.

Euhh, maybe Super Paper Mario. The pacing was awful and the art style was really a step down from previous ones in the series.

Plus, no turn-based battle system. :( Didn't feel like Paper Mario to me at all.

Other than that? Nothing. I do a ton of research before I buy a game, and that's served me well so far.

I think the Op is suffering from endolifeconsoleieitis , a condition that usually occurs approx 12 months at the end of the current gen life cycle a similar condition occurs with earlyadaptorconsoloeitiesI

I've suffered from the effects since the "it's so bad lets bury it in the desert bad" Every time I get those blues ,am I going to stop gaming as result, yet every time I get sucked back in. :)

I'm not sure why COD cops so much slack is it because of the type of gamer it attracts?Though the OP is right this current gen is worrying feels like the FMV days :eew: , it's like developers have lost the plot. Most worrying when serious largish developers "dumb down" their products like squeeze enix and crapcom Will we ever see a Kane and Lynch and what am I to expect from the next Tomb Raider last time they took it in a new direction we got AOD. I'd just be happy if they remade the old TR. :P

Though not all is lost thank god we have Sega like Germany* they where in the doldrums for quite some time but now their stepping up to the plate and hitting home runs. :) I think you need to did dig through the merde to get to the truffle , Theirs even some stellar titles on the Wii apparently 8O (though you'd have to dig up a country the size of Belgium for that (the pee is tomorrows power glove)

*Funny I always knew Germany would come good the conservatives no it alls said to Germany do this or do that "this" being buy houses like credit cards or "that" turn Fritz the engineer into a Timothy the Tesco shelf stacker or a Susie Starbucks supervisor, thankfully Fritz said "nein " to that, Though Sega I wasn't so sure :? I thought it was all over red rover approx 10 or so years ago, their current games seems to have enough their for the "causal gamers" yet theirs enough their to keep the "core" gamers happy .

Yet sadly it's still ignored by most

Luckilly the only game I regreted buying was a used copy of Dead Island, so I was able to return it the next day.

As soon as the horrible song started playing after I put in the disc (WHO DO YOU VOODOO B****???), I knew I wasn't in the dudebro demographic for that game. Played it for a few hours, but it was just not for me. At all.

I used to own Fallout 3 for the Xbox 360 and really enjoyed it. While the game had some bugs, none were ever so bad that I couldn't play the game. Then when I got a PS3 I decided to buy Fallout 3 again for the PS3. I found a game that was so bugged that the game was pretty much unplayable. Everywhere I went in the game objects were flying around and falling from weird places. It's hard to let your imagination get lost in an apocalyptic wasteland when you enter Paradise Falls and find skulls falling from the sky, or when you go to pick up a unique clothing item only to have it fall into an unreachable crack every time you start the game and enter the room.

I'm pretty much fed up with Bethesda's games, I really wanted to like The Elder Scrolls and Fallout but they do such a half-baked job at fixing their bugs before and after they release the games, and they really don't seem to care about PS3 players who seem to get the worst problems with their games. I think their games are very overrated and don't deserve as much praise as they get.

The Sims Medieval. It failed to capture what was so great about The Sims, or even expand in it's own direction effectively.

I also can't deal with games that are past a certain age. There are just so many small things and big things that have improved since then.

90% of my wii games. Shovelware I couldn't stand one or two days after purchasing.
Coming to think of it, I have few good memories related to the wii. I won't touch the wii-U, that's for sure.

Exceptions: zelda, mario kart, no more heroes, house of the dead: overkill... guess that's that.

American McGee's Alice - It's way too difficult for me. It makes me frustrated rather than happy. Besides, fans of this particular Alice like to trash Tim Burton's Alice movie, which I loved so much that it was the reason I decided to get the American McGee games in the first place. :?
