I skip school to play this game can't stop playing since it so addiciting. This is my new obbession now. Just wondering has anyone played TRAVIAN here?

I played it for about 6 weeks last year. Unfortunately it was a bit of a waste of time for myself to be honest. If you begin playing during the start of an age/conquest (whatever it is called) you are ok. But starting as a newbie a couple of weeks into it, you are screwed. You never reach the required level for alliances quick enough and start getting battered by any alliance members close to you. The most I could hope for was reducing opponents to winning Pyrrhic victories, but that was too boring for me.
