Any big fans of the original Deus Ex here?

I think it's amazing.. so deep and philosophical at times. Really, this should be THE game for Aspies. It's so adult.

I recommend playing The Nameless Mod for Deus Ex.
It's so good with awesome voice acting and dialog.
The story set might sound really silly at first, but give it a shot.
For me it's on par with the original.

I have 3 different copies of this game, 1 PS2, 1 PC and 1 Steam, and yet I have never played it further than the Statue of Liberty which is right at the beginning. I should really attempt to complete this game.

Played Invisible War, what a great game for it's time. I was tempted to buy the first Deus Ex during the Steam sale but sadly I did not. Like Invisible War, I heard great things about the original.

I like it, but haven't been able to finish it yet. I don't even remember where I left off...ended up getting it during the Steam sale for $2.

Yes, a huge fan and it is a shame that Human revolution didn't live up to The Conspiracy but don't even get me started on Invisible War. Human Revolution is still a great game, a worthy prequel but it is no way a masterpiece like The Conspiracy.

I'm definitely a huge fan of the Deus Ex series. I started with Human Revolution and I was instantly hooked. The amazing promotional trailers that they created for it were very memorable. I bought the other games during the Steam sale and I was equally impressed with the original, despite the outdated graphics.

Deus Ex is an all time favourite of mine thanks to its massive replayability, and The Nameless Mod captures all the best elements of Deus Ex into a neat new story with plenty of humour and some gameplay elements tweaked quite nicely. But for pure silliness I highly recommend the Malkavian Mod; it involves killing a potted plant called Hitler using Manderly's hunting rifle along with a mission to get pills. And make sure you promise not to kill Filben's wolf.

Human Revoloution is also an excellent addiiton to the series and found it highly enjoyable, but Invisible War felt like it was disconnected from the rest of the series, it had some solid elements such as choosing which factions to help, but it does have the issue of having a very tough act to follow and the overly simplified gameplay that makes it feel more like an FPS rather than an RPG, just lacked the more open world feel to the original.
