I always got frustrated with video-games growing up that I couldn't easily master so, I was never a big game expect for a few computer games like Diablo II, AOEII and a online game called Runescape, all three I got addicted too. I like playing Call of Duty with my friends, my friend tries to get me into his collection but its just daunting to me. I'm buying a used Xbox 360 and was wondering what games you would suggest. The only game I know I am getting is Modern Warfare. At this moment the only game I play is League of Legends.

Aren't the 'next gen' consoles coming out soon anyway? But I guess you could try the; Halo series, Far-cry series, Assassins creed series, Mass Effect series, and TES (The Elder Scrolls) series. I haven't used my Xbox 360 for a few years though, so some of those might be out of date.

I would recommend Portal and Portal 2, they're easy to play and you can jump straight into them.

Plus they're not as in your face overpowering action kinda games, than call of duty or Halo is, but is still thourghly entertaining :D

hope this helps

I haven't really used my Xbox much recently, especially since the HDMI outlet on the thing broke - I've tried about 5 HDMI cables, including new ones I bought after it happened, before anyone makes any suggestions - but I'd recommend the Mass Effect series, Halo series, Battlefield 3 and the Portal games as definite things to grab. I'd also recommend Alpha Protocol if you like RPGs and Deus Ex style games but do be warned that it can be glitchy and got a lot of negative press, mostly due to people playing it as an action game rather than a pretty deliberate RPG. Main hint is to actually keep your crosshair on someone for a few seconds for every gun type except the SMG, as they all get bonuses for it.

One great (and not too difficult game) would be TellTale's "The Walking Dead".

I had a blast with Tropico 3 on 360. Tropico 4 is probably good too, but I've yet to play it.

I greatly recommend FEZ, its a lovely platformer where you can rotate the world to great effect.
