Just wondered if any of you guys played/play it.

I was on and off on several different accounts, I've quit probably for good from about summer last year. I have some good memories from RS, the best ones were when I joined a clan where everyone just got on and we all were a big group of friends, was awesome!

I still follow the quests as I really enjoyed doing them, I just couldn't be bothered to train my skills so I resorted to botting the skills (made 40M from training thieving to 99 when seeds used to be merched constantly!) then doing quests or going to clan wars etc. The new storyline looks very interesting aswell! The new combat system though looks awful, I was in the middle of making a zerker pure and I was going to come back to RS then they announced the combat system which killed my pure hopes so I gave up!

I played Runescape on and off from 2002(RS Classic) till 2006 (RS 2), i even collected some of those hats that are probably worth an insane amount now. It was my first MMORPG so it will always be memorable for me. I was mainly mining and smithing, i kinda liked the monotonous mining and it gave some good money. My account unfortunately got hacked in 2006 and got me banned as well. Ah well....

I used to play RS, but I got sick of level 100+ players hanging out in the first town just to call people "n00bs" and generally be rude.

I might take it up again now that I'm older.
