Not so much a remake, but Alpha Centauri needs a sequel.

Also, someone bring back the Medievil series...

And Custer's Revenge might make more sense with modern graphics.

Alpha Centauri, YES!

The Morgan/WP faction will rule Planet! Comped Meltdown Shots for everyone at the Rec Dome!

MOO3 was an abomination. From start to finish, they went through about 5 design teams. They should have just sold the rights to Firaxis and let them hammer it out. As conceived, it would have been the cutting edge of technology. As sold...well, stardock's GalCiv (1) looked a lot better, and it's graphics were only 6 years out of date.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Just wait until your industry pisses off Planet and my Gaians turn that against you. Or, you know, the Believers steamroll you in the first few years. Damn Believers...

Pay off Miram until she turns on the University...bunch of ivy-tower eggheads.

We'll happily endow a couple of professors's chairs for impact cannons....

I like buddying up to the University. Being able to have what amount to my personal lab pays off in mid/late-game, and allows me to keep current on weaponry while my own research pushes towards a transcendence victory. Having a bunch of nerds to double up on research pays off. Usually by late game my combined mindworm/normal units army can easily crush the enemies on defense, and do pretty will on offense as well.

Ever played any of the expansion factions? I never could bring myself to. It just feels wrong.

You want transcendence victory? Lal with its relaxed population limit bonus and 1 happy for every 4 population... huge!

As soon as you have well-developed cities with output to spare, get them building transports and store them so you can instantly apply them to every wonder project and keep them all to your greedy self!

There's a reason this game is called "SMAC" - it's one addictive drug!

I've never played as Lal, always seemed rather wimpy, but I roll with the Gaians ecotech bonuses. I've done it with Uni as well.

Yeah, I love the Uni's early tech bonus, but Lal's bonus is also felt very early when cities are initially limited to Population 4, but Lal gets 5! Plus, you don't have to worry about angry drones - they're a deliriously happy bunch! :D

LOVE those tree farms... lots of food, minerals AND energy! Later in the game, the Gains would kick arse though - crazy-powerful mindworms and mega food/min/nrg from fungus... plant it, rather than remove it!

Gad... this game and its addon needs a remake. :D

They tried to do it as a CivIV mod... It was good, but just not the same.

Btw, your s/n wouldn't happen to be a reference to a certain C64 topdown shooter, would it? I loved Blue Max.

I think the original Spyro games should be remade by a new developer instead of all the Skylander cash cows that keep coming out. The gameplay and graphics could be polished, and I would definitely buy it.

Mischief Makers (the old N64 platformer). I loved that game.

Nostalgia factor ON.

It would probably get an E10+ rating now (instead of its K-A/E rating) because Prof. Theo (the old man in the intro) is a pervert.

I think 343 Industries should remake Halo 2. They should get Halo 2 and put new graphics, new music. Just like they did to Halo CE. Halo 2 was the best selling original game xbox ever.

It would be called Halo 2 Anniversary.

Personally i feel like there should be a remake of Deus Ex. It has a really good story, but it looks really bad, and non of the HD mods help. Also the weapons in the game fell like i have a pistol that's being tied down to a brick.

Not necessarily a classic, but does anyone remember the game The Movies? Seriously, that game was awesome. It's a shame that Lionhead focuses more on Fable, but I would love it if Lionhead came back to remake The Movies.
