CLEMSON, S.C. — A man has been hospitalized after police in South Carolina say he was hit by an SUV while playing a real-life version of the video game "Frogger."

Authorities said the 23-year-old man was taken to a hospital in Anderson after he was struck at around 9 p.m. Monday.

In the "Frogger" arcade game, players move frogs through traffic on a busy road and through a hazard-filled river. Before he was hit, police say the man had been discussing the game with his friends.

Chief Jimmy Dixon says the man yelled "go" and darted into oncoming traffic in the four-lane highway.

No charges are expected against the driver. The name of the man who was struck has not been released. He was in stable condition Monday night.

I'd go into the homes of random people, open up their chests, and take all of the money, weapons, armor and items inside for myself. Sometimes right in front of them. And they will not react in any way whatsoever.

Imagine people "bunny hopping" around like some do in [name of MPFPS here]. That would enrage me enough to get all Carmageddon...

Heh. I'd like to see common AI problems being done (people running into walls, etc).

Imagine if we had drivers in this world like GTA: San Andreas. If anyone has played that game, people know what I'm talking about. And unfortunately, drivers are kinda like that....

-We'd all be natural surgeons and able to heal our own major wounds and lacerations with just a first-aid kit or pills, even if we found them in the middle of the woods somewhere, or by eating food, even if it's been just lying on the ground for who knows how long? :)

-We'd only be mildly injured by lasers, fire, metal spikes, and even bullets, but if we wade up past our ankles in plain, ordinary water we'd be DEAD. (My least favorite video game cliche).

-If we went anywhere for a vacation it would very likely be ruined by zombies, paint-like pollution, or crash-landing on a mysterious planet.

-College students would be chugging fruit juice instead of alcohol. (Sims 3 University)

-Our romantic interests or family members would be kidnapped at least once a week!! !! 8O

Pokemon: We'll be painting our mice (or cats http://nerdapproved.com/misc-weirdness/the-pikachu-cat/) yellow, and force them to fight each other.
Digimon: We'll be taking our gameboy Advances and holding them in front of a computer screen. Yelling: *insert Digimon name here*, digivolve!
Scribblenauts: We would take a notepad and a pencil writing things over and over again, expecting something to appear.
Super Monkey Ball: People would put each other in a giant plastic ball and rolling them down a giant ball.

This is all I can think of.

The world would lag on occasion.

We could survive being shot an infinite number of times as long as we pick up enough healing items to keep our hit points above zero. If we're mimicking newer games we could also survive being shot an infinite number of times but only if we have time to heal in between.

Getting hurt won't make us run any slower or impair our physical abilities. We might huff and pant while we're not moving but nothing happens until we're dead.

We don't sleep and we never fall unconscious. We're always awake until we die.

We aren't born. We just exist from the moment the game is turned on. We never age and we can live for thousands of years as long as the game still works. If it breaks we all die.

If real life was like video games -

- Fat, Italian plumbers would keep trying to jump down pipes.
- Hedgehogs would break the sound barrier.
- Barrels would explode at the slightest touch.
- Nobody would die (unless they ran out of continues).
- Unusual shaped blocks would keep dropping out of the sky.
- Changing to a new set of clothes will make you stronger.
- You wake up and are told that only YOU can save the entire world for certain catastrophic destruction or other impending doom.
- Car theft would be everywhere and prostitutes would be scared to walk the streets.
- Invisible walls would confuse everyone.
- When you open a door you would have to wait for the world to load the next area.

You could willfully change the time of day.

stolen items would respawn

all money would be coins or credit

you could choose how you look.

All women would have large breasts

If people mimicked video games...

People can live forever, courtesy of extra lives and continues.
Speaking of lives, you'll only need 100 coins (or rings) to get another life!
Most mushrooms are actually good for you, except the poison ones.
Flowers make bad-a** firepower!
Foxes have two tails instead of one, and use them to fly.
In some circumstances, you can breathe underwater.
Italy would be inhabited by plumbers, princesses and Toads.
Hedgehogs can go faster than the speed of light.
Tanooki suits and cardboard boxes would make good camouflage.
Cheating would be beneficial!

I'm pretty sure that is all I've done 15 years ago.
