Anyone have a Nintendo 2DS? I have the blue and black one and it has been fanastic for me so far. I have had issues with broken hinges on my old DS and this wasn't an uncommon issue. Once Nintendo announced the 2DS and its price, I decided to get one. It does feel sturdy and even survived one drop so far.

I recently got Super Mario 3D Land because I saw some Amazon reviews that said that there were more than eight worlds and I have enjoyed that game so far. Given that there will be Super Mario 3D World for the Wii U, that have stoked my desire for the Wii U as well and there is already a New Super Mario Bros Wii U game (and its Lugui DLC).

Can't wait for that Zelda: A Link Between Two Worlds to come out two weeks from this Friday and that game played a big factor in getting the 2DS. To help tide me over, I have downloaded the three GameBoy Zelda games and will do the two NES games soon as well. The two DS Zelda games will be coming as well.

2014 will be a good year for the Big N.

How big is the 2DS when compared to a regular DS or a 3DS?

It looks like it's a little inbetween a 3DS and a 3DS XL.

I have one! It's the black and blue one too. I thought the white and red one looked more childish so I went for the darker one.
The headphone jack on mine is dodgy. I didn't realise until after I had bought a game on the Nintendo eStore or else I would have brought it back. I don't know what to do in this regard.

It hasn't been very long, you should be able to exchange it if you still have the receipt.

Otherwise Nintendo can repair it.

^You should still have a warranty on that. You could exchange it for a different one and have the game transferred.
