That´s a great game, I love the free-running system. If you like that kind of fighting games, try Bushido blade 2. Squaresoft made that too, it´s simliar to Ergheiz but more arena-based, realistic and gory.

I've been searching for Bushido Blade but I haven't found it for sale :(

It´s pretty rare these days, I´m glad I bought both when they came out. Have you tried ebay or amazon? It´s worth the search, I´ll guarantee that.

Adventure mode of Ergheiz was a complete git. I'm still trying to complete it.

When I played fighting games I just mashed the buttons as fast as I could, ended up winning about 40% of the time.

I don't have an ebay account. I found the game in my city but it was expensive, the CD was scratched and the booklet was wet :x.

Anyone love them as much as I do?

(M.Bison avatar ftw!!)

My favourite ones are probably the Soul Calibur series. The "rock-paper-scissors" (three basic ways to attack, three basic modes of defence) mechanics are simple and easy to get to grips with, but reward messing about with controls and experimenting with different sequences. I'm fairly good with Rock, Siegfried or Seong Mi-Na.

The Mortal Kombat series is okay--there's a good storyline, and the character designs, visuals and extras are great. But the game engine seems to favour dial-a-combo fighting, and makes a blocking crouch into a nearly unassailable defence.

Generally, I don't have the super-reflexes needed to pull off a 15-move combo or counter by pressing the right button within 0.2 seconds of the enemy attacking, so I appreciate games where it's not compulsory.

I LOVE fightin games. Some of my favorites include Street Fighter III 3rd Strike, Super Street Fighter II Turbo, Garou Mark of the Wolves, Soul Calibur 1, Super Smash Brothers (N64) and Killer Instinct. I'm very involved in the online gamin scene, and I'm one of the top Killer Instinct players online, and I'll gladly face ANYONE who thinks they're remotely good at the game (or who just wants his ass kicked ). I'm also quite good at the original Super Smash Brothers game for N64, but I can't play that online anymore (my comp sucks too much for N64 games).

Any challengers for Killer Instinct? :D

My personal favorites are the Virtua Fighter and Soul Calibur series.

Unfortunately I am so good at them no one really wants to play me anymore.

Adventure Mode is totally worthless. I even Gamesharked up my characters and I still couldn't beat it.

My favorite fighters are Ehrgeiz, Psychic Force, Marvel VS. Capcom, and Bloody Roar. Flying Dragon 64 is fun too if you put some time into it. You have to unlock a lot of stuff before it gets good.

My friend and I feel that there will always be a place in our hearts for Dragonball Z: Hyper Dimension though. That was one rad SNES fighter.

I used to play DBZHD on zbattle a couple years back. Pretty fun game, and some guys were so freakin good at it.

I hate Virtua Fighter 2(Sega Mega Drive.)

Is there any decent fighting games for PS2 other than SC III?
