Do you take your 3DS to gatherings?

I just got mine so I've been taking it everywhere so I can get street passes and also to count steps.

I take mine everywhere to get street passes, play against cousins, counting steps, and if I get bored.

I take my Vita and/or 3DS with me most places and depending on if i can or can't charge/where i will be i take my laptop as well..Electronics are my security blanket they let me turn the world off when being overwhelmed LOL.

I occasionally take it to the gym for rest periods lol..kinda weird but not a problem when I get my own weights

Gonna try and make it a habit to have it with me while running on the treadmill.

I absolutely do! Especially at conventions--not only are video games a good way for me to decompress from sensory overload, but a lot of other people bring their 3DSes as well, so it's easy to get Streetpasses or find someone to challenge to a quick Pokemon battle or what have you. :D

That reminds me, I really should check up on my Animal Crossing town...
