This game has some crazy theories behind it. I watched Caretaker's Ghost Town on YouTube play it. I wouldn't play it myself.
I've never been to a Chuck E. Cheese in many many years. I wouldn't be surprised if there were rumors of their animatronics coming to life at night.

This looks highly entertaining, at least by my warped standards, but it has one problem:

The volume.

If you want to hear all of the freaky noises and such during normal gameplay, you gotta have the volume up.

But when one of those things manages to get you, it blows your eardrums out the back of your head. Golden Freddy seems to be the only one that doesnt do this (as that one has it's own unique brand of freaky). But all of the others do, with only normal Freddy getting you due to power being out being the one point where you get a warning that one of them is aboiut to jump and shriek at you. Well, the fox also has a warning moment, but it's very quick and you have to be looking in specific cameras to see him do it. Other than that though, it just sudden NOISESPLOSION. Dont like loud things, hurt my ears. But dont wanna just have the volume way down the whole time, ruins the atmosphere. I'd also rather not wake up the entire house because I didnt watch a deranged animatronic death-bunny quite closely enough.

That being said, I have a definite interest in this game; if there's a good way to deal with the volume issue, I'll pick it up.

It's a horror game done RIGHT for once (as opposed to "survival horror" games which I usually just find boring). Everything is very atmospheric, the characters are well done for what they are.... I mean, seriously, Chico (the duck) is about the freakiest damn thing I've seen in a LONG time, it'll be awhile before anyone tops that particular nightmare... The gameplay is unique, and the different characters have complicated AI that controls their movements throughout the place, each one having it's own unique tactics for getting at you. And there's secrets to find and everything.

The developer has already promised a sequel to this one, too.

I bet it's where you're patrolling the place rather than sitting around while on watch. That would freak me out just having one of those things right be behind me as I turn around. I bet they would offer rooms like safe zones (but you can't stay there forever) and instant death danger zones (stay away at all times). Have one come around a corner or out of a doorway and then you run to a safe room and shut the door 'til they leave. The building has limited power just like before and your flashlight has limited battery power too. Watch out for Foxy because she is fast.

Yeah, it seems kinda silly at times to me.

Some of them will sorta overreact and freak out totally on purpose, and... usually, it's pretty obvious. It kinda ruins the effect.

There are though plenty who will get genuinely scared, and there's good examples of that, but alot of THOSE dont come from the major Youtubers.

This one, for example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=84TAM1nA0vI I cant blame him for that one. If you dont know about Golden Freddy or what exactly summons him, he really can scare the heck outta you like that. Plus, well.... I mean, just look at him. The other ones, particularly Chico, are freaky enough, but that one.... something about that empty slouch is just.... ugh.

But yeah, people getting genuinely scared by stuff like this is pretty common. I know a couple of friends who absolutely will not under any circumstances touch this game, for exactly that reason. One in particular having had a fear of animatronic anything since he was a little kid. It got basically a "NOPE" reaction outta him.

Actually Freddy himself has the unique ability to teleport. Naturally, there's ways to keep him from warping to you, though I dont know what they are. But yes, he can get through closed doors. It's not the only destination he'll warp to though.

And of course Golden Teddy cant be blocked at all if summoned, though there's a way to get rid of him once he's in the room if you do it quickly.

And what's a "pita"?

I still don't see the horror.

I guess I'm no fun (I kinda wish I could get into it like the dude in the first video).

This sounds like a creepypasta parody of Chuck E. Cheese's and the like. At least McDonald's barely ever has this problem with its mascots.

And no, this doesn't count.

On topic, though, very interesting if you're all about managing resources. Not my cup of tea, but to each our own. All those theories sound interesting...and spooky. I said spooky as in "legit scary," not the "2spoopy" sense. HEY-O!

How many of you have actually been to a Chuck E Cheese or something similar? The robotic figures can look freaky as hell.

I can only imagine how horrifying it would be if they were actual robots and not animatronics stuck to one place. It'd probably be 5 Nights for real.
