I keep coming back to Payday2, they keep revising it and adding new stuff to keep me interested, and perfectly stealthing ridiculously hard heists reminds me a lot of unlocking the cheats in Goldeneye 007 back on the N64, one of my fondest gaming memories. Yes, I could clear Facility in less than 2:05 on 00 difficulty, probably still can it's so burned into my muscle memory. I got all the Perfect Dark ones too, but those weren't as compelling to me as the Bond ones.

Doing a run of Dead Money in Fallout: New Vegas. A couple of days ago I tried to steamroll my way through it and was chastened. Now I'm playing much more carefully at a slower pace and am having some fun.

Not the biggest fan of Dead Money, and I say that as someone who counts New Vegas as among my favorite games of all time. Old World Blues was definitely the best expansion for that game, it was the funniest with the best story and the best uniques, especially for a stealthy sniper player like me, though I really wish the stealth armor had a mute button.

^^^ What I'm enjoying about Dead Money is the frustrating difficulty. The entire villa is literally a dark dungeon filled with poison gas, with bear traps and mines all over the floor. In Old World Blues, there is nothing to stop me from importing hundreds of 25mm grenades and watching pieces of roboscorpion rain down from the sky. (I'm planning to do this after Dead Money) Not saying Old World Blues can't be challenging; it gave me some trouble last time, but Dead money really does justice to the phrase "post-apocalyptic wasteland". The hell with explosive collars though.

I agree -- I recently completed a New Vegas hardcore/modded run (no healing from food/drink; realistic damage which your character is also subject to), Dead Money on hardcore makes the entire outside area a constant (but non-fatal) HP drain; and I have to say it was my favorite expansion. Old World Blues was funny (though at one point I was getting fatigued by the sheer length of the opening Think Tank conversation), but Dead Money affected me emotionally. The ending left me feeling like the Final Girl in a horror flick; I went in and with my player build had trouble dealing with even a single Ghost Person what with the loss of equipment and unfamiliarity with the Sierra Madre's dangers. By the time I left, having upgraded the Holorifle, gained all the companion perks, and learned how to survive amongst the Ghost People, I had this wonderful feeling that, whatever else the Mojave threw at me, I would be okay. I also liked the companions the most, and the heist plot was engaging.
Oh, and before I forget what I came here to post; I'm playing the squad-based MMOFPS Verdun. It's set in the First World War, and features infantry-based trench warfare. You can play as French, British, Canadian on the Entente side, or as Germans on the Central Powers, in one of three four-man squad types (line, recon, and assault infantry; each squad type has its own class slots including an NCO). It's pure infantry combat; no tanks or player-controlled aeroplanes (tank and plane wrecks lie strewn amongst the craters), though some squad officer types can summon AI-controlled recon planes. Assault squads (Canadians and Sturmtruppen) can even call in chemical gas attacks.

Dragon Age Inquisition. I've played about 30 hours already and there is so much left to do. It really feels like an Infinity Engine Bioware game in it's scope and beauty.
