Mine are Infamous 2/Second Son, I like killing all the innocents and throwing cars at them. The Witcher 3 is good too, I can slice people in half with my blade and burn them to death with my fire spell

Definitely Mario Kart 8... It's a game I'm very good at and usually dominate online (unless bad luck happens or the occasional other pro) and I just LOVE it when I slam someone really hard with a green shell or red shell and zoom right by :D

Descent - a 3D first-person shooter video game developed by Parallax Software and released by Interplay in Europe in 1994. The game features six degrees of freedom gameplay and garnered several expansion packs.

I get to fly a fighter through zero-gravity mazes and blast battle drones out of existence.

I don't think I've ever played a game when I was angry before...

I've played games before that have made me very angry, and I had to turn them off and play a different game, I guess that counts?

When I was a teen, I wouldn't say I was angry, maybe more like "angsty", I would use cheat codes and veg out to pointless murder in shareware like Wolf 3D, DOOM, and the first GTA.

I wonder how I would have felt about Postal 2. I know, even back then, the first Postal sounded kind of lame to me, so...maybe not that different to how I feel today...

I so badly wish they'd make something like this again. There was that recent Miner Wars game that sorta tried, but.... ugh. It got too embroiled in the usual obsessions with graphics and cutscenes/talky bits that it just... fell so very flat.

They just dont make 'em like they used to, I tell ya that.

Now as for my own games to vent anger, ah, well, fighting games for the most part. Since I tend to use a berserker style to begin with, I am more effective and faster the more angry/agitated I get. A bit of time spent flattening people will usually get me calmed down. Usually.

Currently that mostly means Smash on the Wii U played online.

Nuclear Throne can be pretty good for this too. So many things to shoot at, or hit with a shovel.

Not so much the shmups though. Going into THOSE angry just leads to sadness and tradgedy. And more anger.

Far Cry 2. All the AI NPCs in the open world are hostile, it is like a persecution fantasy. I pretend I'm minding my own business and these people just won't leave me alone. "And then they run me off the road??! Unbelievable, I won't stand for it"...

I think some guys are Kickstarting a new Descent game. Dunno if any of the original devs are involved or not...I'm not even sure if they have the legal license to do so (you know how Kickstarter can be).

Be nice if they can pull it off, particularly after Miner Wars came out (after a MILLION BILLION YEARS) and disappointed the hell outta everyone. At least good came out of that since they took the engine and immediately went and started Space Engineers, which absolutely everyone seems to ADORE. Hell, I saw an actual physical copy of it at the Walmart the other day. I tried not to think about this too hard, it's a headache waiting to happen.

But yeah, it'd be really nice if someone could manage to make another proper Descent game, or at least something that plays like how those did. Those games were great, and there's been hardly anything like that since.

I have never really been into just randomly slaughtering people in games like GTA.
its kind of a weird choice but I would say my go to game when I want to shoot people/things is The Last of Us.
its so satisfying when you get a kill because ammo is scarce. I just adore that game it because it made me, a person that doesn't play shooters or horror games its biggest fan. Joel also definitely slaughtered a lot of live people that trying to harm him or ellie but I guess I overlooked it because I felt like I was protecting ellie.

Super Smash Bros, with all the CPUs set to level 1. I call it Smash Therapy.

Most of my games are E or T-rated, so there isn't *usually* too much to do when I'm feeling angry, except for Super Smash Bros. and maybe Pokemon Rumble World.

I know lots of people love killing off their Sims in cruel and unusual ways, but I really don't, even if I restart the game without saving. I put so much effort into creating them that it just feels plain wrong to deliberately set them on fire until they die or starve them to death.

Although I sometimes do things or put them in situations that aren't pleasant I know they'll live through, like make them eat spoiled food or get in a fight with other Sims, he he heh.

And in Animal Crossing you can whack other animals over the head with your bug net. In New Leaf you can get a squeak-toy hammer that does the same thing. It's especially fun if they're asleep on a stump or a park bench.
I've also dug up and saved all the pitfalls I find every day, then replant them everywhere late at night when most animals are asleep, and then watch the chaos ensue the next day, being careful of course not to walk onto the pitfalls myself or I'll end up falling-literally-for my own prank.

Actually I don't usually feel angry when playing my games unless the game is hard or frustrating. Then I have to stop or I'll really get upset.
