6, says the game's wiki.

Though it's the bucket that's the popular one right now. The Slosher, I think it's called. Kinda getting tired of seeing it.... the gatling gun has a bit of a mean learning curve to it, so it doesnt seem that all that many players are using it.

Though, at least those using the Slosher arent using freaking rollers or the blasted E-Liter. REALLY tired of those.

In the demo, I only used the roller, because it meant I didn't have to try to figure out how the heck to use the half-gyro, half-analogue stick aiming controls >_<

I've been told that in the full version, you can turn off the gyro controls.

Yeah, you can turn them off. Cant use them whatsoever myself. I mean..... motion controls, ugh.

Some players say they're more accurate for aiming though; aiming with the sticks works exactly like in any shooter though, feels the same, so it seems perfectly fine to me. They can keep their bizarro wobbly aiming thing.

Decided to go back and finish Wolfenstein: The New Order. Made it to the last boss and boy is he a pain. Looks like I'll be working on this for a while

I don't mind motion controls, but the way they're set up in that game, I just can't get the hang of it. Aim up and down with the gyro, aim left and right with the right analogue stick...add into that the left stick for movement, and that's just too much juggling for my brain to handle.

Aiming along all four axis with the gyro, okay maybe.

More Splatoon and OKAY DAMMITALL doing some freaking Turf War, and....

I understand the point of getting kills in this mode. It's necessary in many ways.

That being said, people are going WAY overboard with it.

I had a match just now, for instance... and it's not the only one that's gone this way today.... where I was using a Splatterscope (why am I doing this?), and about halfway through the match.... I noticed just HOW MUCH area in our half of the level WASNT covered. Guess who got to cover almost all of it? Yeah. WITH A CHARGER. But nobody else would do it! I was the only one who bothered! If I had not done this, we WOULD have lost. As it is, I looked at the map, and the enemy area was similar.... but nobody bothered to fix it.

Again: WITH A CHARGER. A scoped freaking charger. .....CHARGER. With a scope! I'm sorry, I cant get over that part. I've gotten used to playing a "janitor" role in this mode, sure. That's fine. Somebody gets to shoot all the everywhere, after all. But that's with other weapon types. Even the slow-as-hell Splatling gun can do a decent job of "fixing" areas that are messed up. But to me, that shouldnt be it's purpose; I mostly use it to defend and hold areas that strike me as being important for whatever reason. That's how I see it as most effective. The players that are running around with Aerosprays or those accursed rollers should be handling much of the actual "fill in the blanks" stuff.

I mean, really, it absolutely gets on my nerves. I'm having a good run here with this damn gun that I should, theoretically, be fantastically terrible at (there is no logic in this place). And have had some good wins today overall. But it STILL just gets me all angered. Granted, LOTS of things get me into an irritated state, but still. JUST getting kills is not the point of the damn mode!

Just..... ugh. Sorry, needed to vent about that a bit.

Shadow of the Colossus. Definitely a nice little game, I enjoy the element of finesse in holding on to the Colossi when they try to shake you off. About to engage the seventh Colossus.

started Marvel Heroes 2015 ( currently playing as Black Widow ) and How To Survive: Storm Warning Edition ( is it me, or is it way harder even on easy compared to normal on the 360 version? ). Also played the 15 minute trial for Tembo the Badass Elephant, can't wait until I can get the full game!

FINALLY finished Kirby & The Amazing Mirror as well...I still hate the map with a passion :P

Played a lot of Splatoon this weekend.
Fun fact:
2 cousins were at my house saturday to spend the day there before they went to some party of a friend. They got there and saw me playing Splatoon and for the first few minutes they were saying things like "what the hell is this game" or "I saw you playing some weird stuff before but this one I can't even see the point"... Well, after trying the game for a few minutes they decided to not even go to their party and stayed at my house playing during the whole weekend.
Oh God, I truly wish people were less judgemental with games that do not look like the standar AAA games.

Absolutely agree. Ugh, the sheer number of times I've seen people look at a game like that one and just call it "kiddie crap" and dismiss it outright is.... well, if I had a penny for every time it happened, I'd..... have too many pennies and probably need some sort of huge industrial vacuum. Or it'd just end up like Scrooge McDuck's money vault. You could swim in the damn things.

Or games that dont have super awesome over the top wonderful uber 3D graphics that'll blow your machine's processor through the wall. A game in 2D? What crap is THAT? Ugh. Again, I'd have SO many damn coins....

Pretty much everyone I know is like that. They're all into the mindless AAA sorts (which usually have terrible replay value, too), while I do mostly indie games, and competitive games such as Splatoon, or fighting games or League of Legends or whatever. And the games are GOOD.... but good luck getting that through their thick skulls. According to one specific person, alot of what I play is "hipster crap". I mean.... really? Ugh. I dont even.

I am playing a game called,
BattleRex: Genghis Khan.

World domination, what else? I am one of those loopy megalomania aspies that exists out there.

Youtube gamplay video of BattleRex

Lately I've been playing a lot of Hexen. It's a bit hard to get into at first, because I thought it was going to be a Doom-like, but it turns out it's basically a first-person metroidvania, which I think is pretty cool. It's a game that was quite ahead of its time, and there's very little else out there like it. There are some things they could have done better, like making the platforming sections more forgiving, or adding more weapons, but as it is it's an enjoyable experience.
