I had the fortune or misfortune to play both Pac-Man and E.T. for the Atari 2600 when they first came out. The E.T. game kind of creeped me out as a kid because when E.T. loses all his lives, the game over screen (like most Atari 2600 games it doesn't say game over, which kind of makes it worse), shows his dead white corpse in front of Elliot's house while Elliot just wanders around. I found out I wasn't the only one bothered by this screen when I watched a review of it made by a foul-mouthed but pretty deadpan-funny guy called Cr1tikal on YouTube.

Atari 2600 Pac-Man is kind of creepy too. His mouth is like an intimidating gap or a child's first attempt at drawing the letter C, and he must be as sickly as he looks because instead of fruits and power pellets he wolfs down vitamins and pills. :)

Yes. I got stuck in a certain spot because of those lousy controls.

Black and White 2
Halo - all of them, I honestly don't understand why that series is so popular.
Operation Winback
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 1
Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit
Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi
Dragon ball Z: Battle of Z

So many bad ones. Fatal Frame comes to mind. Something about a game that's completely about taking pictures just didn't not it for me. And they actually made sequels.

My brother accidentally bought Transformers Revenge of the Fallen for Wii once, so I played it for like 5 minutes. It was so terrible.

In response to Almajo88: Yeah, I know how you feel about FFXIII. Hopefully FFXV and the FFVII remake will resurrect the series towards it's former glory. What are your favourite FF games?
I'd say that the worst for me was TLOTR: Aragorn's Quest for DS. That's all I want to say. Oh, and Dance on Broadway for Wii [my Mum thought it might be fun].

So many bad NES games back in the day for less than an hour at a time *cough* Back to the Future *cough* but the single worst experience I ever had (as a huge fan of the series) was Final Fantasy XIII. I sold it an hour after I beat it. It was a CHORE to play and only finished it for the sake of finishing it. How did that piece of garbage get such good review$?

The worst games I've played lately are "Saints Row 3 and 4". They totally ruined the mood. Saints Row used to be the only franchise I ever really liked until Volition destroyed it with those two.

Your joking right?

The first Halo was really good, are you sure you just don't like the shooting genre? I admit it got over rated after that, a game that really didn't need a sequel in my opinion, the rest are just cash grabs.

Anyway, a few titles come to mind,

Aliens: Colonial Marines
Daikatana
Postal III

I PREDICT THAT PRESSING THE SWITCH AGAIN WILL REPRODUCE THIS EFFECT.

my mom hates this character and she has never touched a video game.

Thanks to Youtube I've seen plenty of really bad games that I've never played. Thank god. Sometimes I wonder how the people playing or reviewing them can stand it unless they're medicating themselves.

Like Action 52. I've never played the "games". I've never seen it in stores anywhere. It seems pretty elusive, actually. I remember seeing it on the Home Shopping Channel years ago, along with that commercial with the Cheetahmen. I remember this lady on the channel telling viewers over and over how fun video games are (as if she actually played them herself), but they're horribly expensive so buy Action 52 NOW where you'll have over 50 games on one cartridge!!

This was shortly before the holidays. There must have seem some pretty sad, angry, disappointed kids on Christmas morning. :)

Crash Boom Bang - Nintendo DS

A Mario Party styled Crash Bandicoot Game with terrible plot, terrible gameplay, and terrible reasons why we don't have anymore stand alone Crash Bandicoot games on handheld.
