Which is your preferred style in games? Really stealth or sniping is best ideally, but if it's not possible the worst option is the best. Also, if you're using a flamethrower, isn't it the enemies which are blazing?

My style in absolutely everything has always been: just charge at it and go berserk.

Doesnt really matter what game or genre it is or what, specifically, I am charging at. I'll still do it. Even in something like a bullet-hell shmup I absolutely will get right up in something's face to hit it point-blank. Which seems counterintuitive, but I do it anyway.

Comes from a combination of my absolute and total lack of anything resembling patience, and also my dark personality and tendency towards anger. I'm going to end up losing control and going nuts anyway if I try to take my time too much, so I may as well just run at the damn things to begin with.

Besides, in many games, I get more of a challenge that way. Sneaking around often makes things easier.... which bores me, so I dont do it. A direct assault though can really provide challenge and test reflexes and whatnot.

Of course this means that there are certain specific sorts of games that I wont do, if there's some game based entirely around stealth from the very start, or.... most modern military FPS games (which I find boring anyway, preferring the run-n-gun style of older FPS games over the hide-n-snipe style of current ones). Typically though as I find those games boring, you couldnt pay me to play them anyway....

I try being stealthy, but I'm not good at it, so guns blazing is what usually ends up happening. :p

I tend to rush to camping spot and wait there. Probably a habit left over from Couter-Strike lol

My first preferred method is just run in and blow the Hell out of everything. But I love going back and redoing missions with pure stealth or tactful force.

I love sniping...

Can't wait for the launch of Battleborn, which has *two* snipers: Marquis and Thorn...

I can do all three in random times just for the heck of it, but stealth option is funnier.

It takes my brain time to process what's going on around me sometimes & I don't react rite away sometimes so I do better taking my time going slow so Stealth it is.

I am shocking at stealth, I get irritated when I get discovered as I play as if I am IN the gameworld and it terrifies me if I'm caught. I never took getting found in hide and seek particularly well either. I'm surprised I managed to complete metal gear solid and got through the castle sneaking section in ocarina of time. I think I threw splinter cell in the bin after three hours. Sniping I'm pretty good at, I can snipe things for ages and get dug into a nice collection of bushes or something, guns blazing I can do but I start to feel like I'm neo from the matrix so prefer to mix it up if possible to make it seem more logical that I haven't died yet.

Guns Blazing obviously. Sniping only if enemies are far away and stealth kept to a minimum of stab in the back.

Normally sneaky snipe at first to get dble or triple damage, then switch to a long range rifle as they get closer, then high damage close weapons to finish them off...this is in most cases such as Fallout, RPGs and things that have better stealth and aiming systems...for others like CS I just go with long clipped or ammo weps to avoid reload or in gtas case anything and everything.

This greatly depends on the situation and game plus the level design itself. Take Farcry 3 for example, its level design calls for a lot of stealth and some sniping. Doom 3 and Half Life 2 on the other hand rarely has places where stealth and sniping are appropriate. I do all three depending on the scenario in the game.
