Earthbound and Pokemon X. I'm taking a bit of a break from Earthbound at the moment, mostly since I just received X and Alpha Sapphire in the mail a few days ago for my birthday, but I'm planning on going back to Earthbound soon.

Minecraft, it calms me and help me focus. I also play Team Fortress 2 when I need more stimuli.

have been trying a little bit of diablo 3 on ps4 as the monk. the gameplay kind of reminds me of the baldur’s gate dark alliance games but with a bit deeper character interface and better controls. seems good.

Batman - Arkham Knight
Batman - The Telltale Series
Metal Gear Solid V
The Witcher 3
Gabriel Knight 2 - The Beast Within
Project Cars - Oculus Rift
Elite Dangerous - Oculus Rift
Microsoft Flight Simulator X - Oculus Rift - Like nothing better than flying a small plane over the Canadian mountains when it's snowing. Completely immersed :)

There's more, but those are the main ones

Playing something called Everspace on Steam.

Just.... holy freaking crap. 2 days ago I'd never heard of this. Now, it might be the best space game I've ever played. I've done nothing else since finding it. It's a 6DoF style game (think Descent) so the dogfighting is definitely a big different than the norm (since you have full "strafing" in addition to all the usual flight controls, and you also have extreme accuracy of movement) and space is NEVER empty, there's always asteroids and plasma fields and wrecked ships and all sorts of things to fly in and around... bloody gorgeous game.

Screenshots: http://imgur.com/a/iY47g

Some of those screenshots are taken in the "action freeze" mode, you can activate that whenever the game is paused so you can take screenshots of that sort. Which is pretty cool.

Anyway, fantastic game. It is actually a roguelike though, so it's VERY hard and will be different every time. Which I love.

Factorio, you start this game out with a pick-axe and a brick oven. Over the course of the game, you extract resources and build items:
The main thrill of this game is that you can figure out how to automate everything you do, from resource extraction to building. This game challenges your sense of logistics.
While it isn't much of a science puzzler, they do use SI units to describe things such as power output. I don't remember any other game using SI units
The game is a little rough around the edges, but I like the direction it takes things.

What is the best experience you have had with the Oculus Rift so far? I am thinking of buying one and I just want to know what the best games are. I already own DiRT Rally and Elite Dangerous, is project cars worth it? It is on sale with the humble store summer sale at the moment.

Mix of trying to platinum Senran Kagura Estival Versus and playing Bioshock 1 and Infinite side by side. Also just got Attack on Titan the other day, may try the anime out too.

Be warned that there's not much at all to do with those things. Driving games and flight games work decently with them, but there's not many such games. And basically every other genre, well.... not quite there.

This is a tech that just isnt ready yet. You can expect to pay a deeply stupid amount of money for something like this, but end up not actually using it all that much unless you're a seriously obsessive fan of driving/flying games.

By far the vast majority of the stuff you'll find on VR right now is small (and I mean very small, stuff that almost seems like tech demos) indie games. Best understand that before flinging that kind of money at it.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided...

I really love how there are so many ways to complete quest objectives...

How do you - an augmented super-SWAT SPEC/BLACK OPS soldier - acquire the MacGuffin from the heavily protected and patrolled lair of the villain?

- Sneak in past his henchmen, using L33t stealth skills, and steal it?
- Charge in, using L33T weapon skills, and take it?

... nah... I'll just walk in through the front door, and politely ask for it.

Mission accomplished...

I've had a DK2 for maybe a couple of years and used it right up to the release of the CV1. I wouldn't say I got bored with it. I used it regularly for different games and apps. Elite Dangerous is amazing on it. The immersion is fantastic, especially when you're approaching/docking at a space station and going into hyperspace. I can't imagine playing ED without it now tbh. Project Cars is really cool. There are also a number of adventure games such as Edge of Nowhere or RPGs like Chronos. There is also Alien Isolation which I couldn't finish as I couldn't handle the stress. There are also a number of cool apps that are available for it. For watching movies, you can use MaxVR which places you in a cinema with a large screen in front of you and you can load movies onto it. I use this frequently. To be honest, it kind of killed the real cinema for me as I think 'why go to a real cinema when I can have one of my own?'..:)

Would I recommend it? Yes and No. It depends. If you have a reasonable amount if disposable income then yes, I would buy one. But you also need a VERY powerful PC to get the best out of it so the cost of getting into VR is definitely high. Think it cost me around £2500 to buy the CV1 and build a decent PC.

I'm not even going to get into porn...:)
